What are the thoughts on Jigoku Kisetsukan: Sense of the Seasons on Steam? After all, free is a hard price to argue with.

It could've been better. It looked good and music was fine to. What ticked me off about it was how unbalanced the shots were, some were utter shit and others were really good. There was also something stupid going on with the bomb-stock. And the stages also felt really bland, but that's what happens when you go the Touhou route and don't really incorporate any enemies into your background.

Like Touhou, but not quite as enjoyable. Patterns that spell sudden death if you're not far away from the source were annoying as they are atypical for actual Touhou, which is all about patterns that can be navigated in interesting ways. Strange shot types but I guess you can just play one that seems good and ignore the others. I didn't like playing it despite the nice visuals and music.

Anyone here versed in Under Defeat HD? There's no guides or FAQs anywhere online that I can find.

I understand that there's an alternate mode after First Loop that flips the screen and adds stuff, but I can't find information about the different planes and stuff.

I tried it and literally the first question was if the character is from Undertale.

I tried playing Windia. He never guessed it (he somehow mistook it for Lightning from Final Fantasy) but afterwards her name did show up in the search.

He also got Reco correct after one wrong attempt.

A chinese hack of Garegga, pretty fun for a couple laughs since it's a lot more forgiving (change planes with button C, 2 shields per life, homing formation default etc)

Oh. If you're new to the game you should be playing novice original and go up from there. 1.5 is something separate and different.

The enemies are in different locations. If you're trying to git gud at the game I imagine you want to be able to 1cc it. Being familiar with the enemy locations is going to help you a lot with that. But if you are trying to 1cc 1.5 you may as well be playing that instead I guess.
