A big tf2 update, after 6 months of beta and almost 12 months of development, it doesn't fucking work.

and even then, sometimes the match doesn't count for some reason.

You know what happens when you hit "find comp match" in OW? you find a game within a minute. and then you go up a rank, or down a rank. It works, unlike tf2

I agree that this is a bit of a clusterfuck, but to be fair it's a newly released update and when OW launched it wasn't exactly flawless.
Not saying this is ok, valve should have their shit figured out by now but things are always broken when they're new. It's inevitable.

You are assigned a number. The game matches you with others players who have numbers with similar value.

If you win, your number has +10 or some shit added to it. The people who lose, have -10.

TF2 for some reason, has everyone start at 0, so players who win against other players with 0 GAIN NOTHING.

let's say I have 20 points. And I win against someone with 0 points. The game doesn't want to reward me too much for beating someone lower than me, so it gives 1 point. We had this shit for 6 months in the beta, where the only way to move up was to play with your friends and keep getting +1 point. The difference is, blizzard fixed this shit in the beta

No it's because blizz hyped it up, on launch OW was a clusterfuck as well. I guess it's just the cool thing to do now to hate on tf2, even after valve is starting to give two shits about comp haha :^)

It's shit because I'm used to use the viewmodel for aiming, I lose the crosshair way too easily with invisible viewmodels.

I remember back before they patched out the console command exploits, people could use it to rebuild levels. I used to join one guy's games who'd build whole new game modes out of maps like Well. Some people were surprisingly creative for how limited it was.
