Buying blink on the hero isn't always the play. Let's say there's a bunch of annoying shit on the other team like Dazzle, Bane, Pudge, Axe, etc. Blink is fucking pointless because there's nothing to blink on. You have to let them come to your team in those situations. Once they've blown all their spells, you can jump in with your blademail and lock one of them down while also becoming an extremely unappealing target for the rest of the retreating enemy team.

So should I be going threads or phase? Phase gives a bit more mobility and that sweet extra damage coupled with backstab, but I can thread change and have a bit more sustain while fighting

The issue is that enough people bought the fucking thing and then started fighting to sell it for its value to literally drop to a 100th of its original worth. I almost suspect that Valve floods its own markets with these things to prevent people from recycling their steam funds.

Valve doesn't directly sell couriers anymore, so anyone on the store are just from the old age from when valve would sell expensive couriers so you didn't have to buy twenty chests. They used to hold their value for a while but the flooding of new couriers pretty much killed all courier value outside a few exceptions

If we compare couriers to hero hats we can understand that the demand is vastly different. A person has potential desire for hats for all heroes while they might only desire a few couriers. People can also mix and match sets so demand does not disappear once a player picks a set he likes. So the question is how do we increase demand while limiting supply

We bring back crafting. Valve tried this before but they half assed it and gave up entirely before any tweaking.

They need to make it so that couriers can be customized with effects or new model additions. But the only way to gain these is to consume other couriers, maybe each courier has it's own unlockable effect

I mean look at the courier they released for ti, it's basically just effects piled ontop of each other. Each effect could of been a courier hat so you can pick n chose how you want your courier.
