Also, I'm finally thinking of switching to Aether, and probably either Balmeme or Gilgamesh.

Primal has next to no people playing PvP at all and the PvP scene is much more lively on Aether, even if it does suck.

If you're just starting out I've been playing SCH lately and it's surprisingly comfy. In retrospect it's a nice gateway healer because your pet does a lot more work than I expected. Again if you're just starting, an important thing to keep in mind that "Maining" a class will still require you to level your compatible cross classes for their useful skills, as in a lot of cases they can be critical later in the game.
