Is there no need for arrows or runes anymore? This tutorial's got me picking up bows and staffs, but with these new ability things, I'm not needing runes

Is there really no better way to check what I've missed other than checking through this giant list of game updates? I haven't really played seriously since the Evolution of Combat.

Abilities don't use ammunition (except for ancients if the effects trigger) but the auto attacks still do.

Other than the addition of revolution, which is the automated triggering of basic abilities, and lelgacy mode, which is for nostalgic retards, not much has mechanically changed.

What kind of stuff do you want to know?

The game gets updates weekly, it's kinda hard to list 4 years of updates.

Mostly the mechanical/combat stuff. I never liked hotbar combat in any games so when they introduced it I drifted away.

I was in the same spot as you a week or two ago. I just logged on and chatted with people while fishing, then went back to combat, starting with some easy stuff then quickly working up to whatever my slayer assignment was at that point.

Revolution just automates most of it, and threshold abilities and ultimates are basically just skill based special attacks you just use once in a while.

The citadel has almost completed its final upgrade task, the penguin statue. We only have 10k stone left to contribute, and I bet all of the minions summoned and stone mined will be enough to finish it.

That said, what would you guys like to see upgraded next? Pic related, it's the lowest tier ranging statue, which we have. Maybe we should knock it down and build a better one in its place. Or we could upgrade the walls.

Am i doing something wrong, or am i getting absolutely NO fucking exp from this Port Sarim thing.

While they were knocked down still poisoned if you used weapon poison it while killing it would sometimes turn the golem into bones.

Now they will no longer turn into bones and can't be actually killed, so they will just be knocked out and get back up after a few seconds like they were intended to.

Right. I thought that you were completely unable to even damage (= kill) them now which I found beyond stupid. By 'poison' I thought you meant the debuffs you cleanse in the coloured beams. This makes a whole lot more sense now.
