Just got the Stone Greatsword, should I use that or stick to my zweihander? STR's at 30 so stats aren't too much of a bother, and the tiny bit of magic scaling is good too since I invested some levels into that stuff for hidden body.

If invasions are also based on weapon upgrades, and the system automatically uses the highest leveled one you have in your game, what happens if i drop a +10 weapon for someone at the beginning and they pick it up? Are they going to be invaded by people much stronger than them and will they be unable to invade anybody at their level?

You can't see weapons that are higher than the highest upgraded weapon you have

they'll only be able to pick up a +10 if they have acquired a +10 on their own
/item trading rules

You can only pick up a weapon that is upgraded to your highest weapon level. So someone starting out at High Wall would only be able to pick up a +1 at best if they found the shit to upgrade it.
