The difference in quality and care between ML and CG manga is humongous and sad. Sad because no matter how shitty and rushed the art is CG kiddies will eat it up, it's a shame Scamco hit it this big with such disappointing franchise.

ML's artist is quite fucking good. I have yet to see a good work of CG's mangaka.

Shuffle and Ensemble were good CG manga. But you've got a point about the adaptation of the 2015 anime.

The Takumi manga has pretty good art.
Mana, Monji and Takumi mangaka(I don't know his/her name) have the best artstyle amongst the iM@s mangaka.
Akane's art is the cutest.

im@s manga are a hit or miss. That isn't really the fault of the franchise but more of the fault of the mangaka. There are plenty of notoriously bad 765 manga like Break, Nemurihime and Relations. Likewise, there are plenty of well received and long-lived CG manga like Ensemble but people here don't circlejerk about it as much as some people here do to the ML manga does. There is the also Wild Wind Girl Manga which is turning out to be nice so far.

But sure, let's turn this into a let's shit on CG kiddies episode. Just to show how insecure you are about it's presence.

I agree about the art quality but literally who cares about Takumi's manga though, I still don't understand why it was greenlit.

I have a firm grasp of understanding the English language and all the odd things that don't make sense in it, but my only problem is that I'm not good at explaining things. At least I can speak in a clear General American accent, which is funny, considering this state I live in is still pretty heavy in Southern accents.

I always thought the three of them were style-imitating some central Imas design or something since they seem to share certain stylistic elements in their drawings.

Relations is weird. It's a quagmire of things I'm not really sure what to make out of. It's certainly something, but it's not something good.

It's been doing a pretty good job of giving exposure to the more recently voiced idols and fleshing them out in a more solidified setting compared to the games.
One would venture to guess that as the reason, especially with the IdolDex entries that follow every chapter.

I'll admit, it took me a while to get used to her singing voice, especially having been used to a more "normal" voice from her VA before. But I feel it's just fine now. Especially considering Arisu's age, it fits.

Yes, and that wouldn't necessarily mean anything if she's supposed to sing in-character when performing/recording as Arisu. A lot of iM@S VAs sound different when they're not doing in-character acting/singing.

That's why I said share stylistic elements and not share styles. More specifically I was referring to the general toning, line thicknesses, and hair detailing.

Most AKBs aren't even good singers to begin with.

Kind reminder that iM@S songs aren't supposed to be technical marvels.
They're supposed to be extensions of the character singing them.
Sometimes that means the song isn't that "good" but that's okay as long as it resonates with the people who like that idol.

I think she's decent enough, but I might be biased. But then who isn't.

They're songs.
If I don't like a song, I have the right to judge it. If someone likes the song I dislike, they have the right to disagree with me, and vice versa.

It doesn't even have to resonate to those who like the characters. It just has to actually fit the characters. Nina singing well enough to do ballads wouldn't make sense. Same with Yuki. It's about the character themselves, and while it's fine that some people don't like it, it doesn't make it "shit" either.
