once you look at 6k player you'll notice that they are much more reliable/make fewer mistakes than 5k's, thats the biggest difference, then when you move to 7k you generally get people who have been spamming heroes/climbing for a long time, pubstars and pro players.
after that its just a matter of gitting gudder/picking right heroes/knowing how to win pubs etc.

but I'll give you a tip anyways, always check enemy heroes items, most heroes have 1-2 core ITEMS but do not confuse this with going the same build or skillbuild every game, and dont feel bad about muting players that annoy you/flame you/make you tilt etc, they hardly ever have anything helpful to say anyways

When it is 2 vs 2 i can keep on track with whats going on, but once a full team battle happens it's really hard to keep track of everything.

Honestly? Just play any kind of hero that requires the usage or just buy a lot of them that need usages.

As someone who came from league, items there were fucking worthless and I never activated them, leading to bad habits. If you have a friend playing with you, rev up that wisp and prepare your buttonmashing skills

Yeah you are going to have a hard time then.

Most basic advice I can give is to simply practice in a bot game, just get as many active items as you can and focus on using them as best as you can.

Also, finding a hotkey setup that you find efficient / comfortable is absolutely key.

You might be able to find a custom game that can help you practice aswell, I don't know of any but it's good to lok.

I have never messed with the hotkey layout. Might try practicing active items in bot games for sure. In team fights I can feel the rising panic and want to just spam everything I have. God it sucks.
