Think its worth farming my Broadsword from +12 to +14 or +15 before continuing? I get pretty close to killing them every time, but it seems right towards the end a few have spawned in and I get rekt. Full havels are a good shout.

Whips and spell tools are what I typically use. In DaS1, for example, I would have a black flame waiting, and why fire witch in DaS3 has witch locks.

Those of you who incorporate dark souls 3 "tech" in your play, what do you find most useful? I was trying to experiment with the sprinting attack buffer, but it doesn't seem very useful with UGS

Is there any reason NOT to use the Dark Pyromancy Flame in DaS2? It seems like it gets better scaling universally, not just when hollowed. Am I reading that wrong?

It has higher scaling, but gets a damage penalty that increases the less hollowed you are. At fully human, it has 0 scaling and only base damage.

Also man why does Fudman take like no damage from anything, a charged Leo R2 from an AGS in the middle of his attack only did 900 and was less than 1/3 of his HP

Yeah the bident is the only infusable weapon with faith scaling
For level whatever you're comfortable with cant really tell you about that. Seems like 120 is the meta but 100 allows you to frag 80's at Pontiffs

Funny thing about the Bident: if you infuse it with Blessed, the faith scaling doesn't change so it just loses like 150 AR and gains nothing.

that charge is cancer. he seems to have hitboxes that extend outside of his body a bit when doing it - i started recording videos recently and noticed it. the stomping opener seems to have lingering hitboxes too

Get a better toaster

Because he can initiate the charge almost instantaneously and in any direction, it's hard to find a good time to attack him. I feel like his fight is hampered by poor animations. It's like he's gliding about on ice the whole fight instead of crawling/running.

On my first character he was the first and only point in the game where I equipped a shield, specifically because of that fucking charge.

people wasting their slot on hornet in duels are just shit given that no good opponent will ever get parried or backstabbed, there's literally one setup that enables some semblance of bs fishing and it's countered with unlocked play just fine

The only time the hornet ring is a waste is against washing poles, since the parry window for the only attack they'll ever use is like 2 frames
