She's pretty good, she heals a lot and puts out pretty good utility and damage, just that it's unclear just how much she's actually helping her team instead of someone else in her place. She definitely isn't shit or trash tier but she might not be that great.

really good spot now I think. She still has that horrible critical hit box and her guns are crap past 12 cenimeters, but she can perform her harassment and aggressive ulting role better.
This game is fucked and I am going to lay out some reasons:
Too many characters who don't have to aim in a SHOOTING game.
No stealth character, seriously wtf blizzard.
Respawn timers are too short. Should be 10 - 30 seconds.
No actual advancement. What's the point in playing?
Boring objectives. They are all variations on 'sit on the thing'.
Too many characters have invulnerability and some can give it to others. This is BS. I'd understand if a melee attack had 2 - 3 frames of invulnerability to give you an advantage in close quarters but actual invulnerability is stupid. Speaking of:
Melee attacks are too weak and they look retarded. With the exception of Reinhardt all melee attacks should do big damage or be instant kills like in a real shooter as reward for the risk of getting close. Reinhardt is a melee specialist so he should be expected to land more hits.
Not even out a year and they are already panicking and releasing a new character for 'free'.
The game has 'support' characters but only one of them can res and one of them doesn't even heal wtf kind of support is that.
No CTF or Hostage-based game modes, this is obvious.
It has some elaborate backstory in support of a game that wastes it completely. Its a series of pointless conflicts that aren't in canon with anything we're presented with. It's like a sandpit with a bunch of toys in it from a show that doesn't exist.
Releasing content gradually instead of doing a real expansion.

He's supposed to be able to do damage.
Symmetra only does damage if you're a moron and stand in her turrets.
Her job is to use turrets to ward areas and tell when the enemy is coming and to set up her teleporter. Damage is tertiary to the character and she should lose 1v1 against almost any other character.

Either faster movement speed, or more powerful healing.

More powerful healing if they want to make Zenyatta a glass buff to the grouped team.
Zenyatta is perfectly fine and needs no buff. All the other characters are literally easy mode and people are whining because he requires more aim than hanzo and widow. Discord is the best ability in the game. People just dont want to put in the work.
likely outcome for zen: Will be picked moderately high on defense maps but mercy will be picked even more often and lucio with remain ever popular on attack and KOTH

Let him heal while moving in Recon mode. Reduce the healing rate when he's not standing still if need be. What usually happens is he gets attacked, so he flips to Recon and runs around a corner. Attackers follow and find him standing still healing.

You may still have issues playing McCree than. Against him as Winston shouldn't be appreciably different as you'll often be in his face anyhow. Mid range headshots will hurt though.

It doesn't need changing. At high level, you should only ever be picking him for the brief moments when he may still be useful, like the last straight in a payload game when the other team have almost got it home, maybe.
As a high level player you should already know when to switch and when he might have some utility.
Bastion is fine as is. Only an idiot would want to play him for more than a few minutes anyway, although he is a cute little dickens.
