if you start melee comboing someone and then pop even level 1 version of it during it then it's aóretty much a guaranteed hit and does 500 damage, otherwise trying to land it is wayyy too hard because it's not instant or fast so it is essentially a melee skill

it wasn't forever, but it was about 12 seconds. 12 seconds of being unable to play, and the spiders had 6x the amount of health they have now, spiders only did like 8% of your health back then though.

coming into a fight with your whole team preshielded is nice but you'll be hardpressed to get >10K shielded for the whole game overall.

Meanwhile a good regular Hank can stonewall any kind of aggression on his teammates to the tune of >15K a game easy, and is #1 focus priority himself for a reason. If you play Hank and know how to dodge, you can carry any team that is just barely smart enough to not stand close to each other simply because of how much damage you can block on one person.

So I just started just recently and as far as things go, I think my favorite trapper is Crow. His banter is hilarious and that "poking" from afar is great at messing with the monster.

This is whenever we can get into a game. Half the time me and my buds keep getting "lobby full" and kicked from the group or something. Hope this is fixed in the next few updates hopefully.

Can I use the grenade to stop him or something? I usually just toss it on a downed player to keep him from getting mauled.

Cabot is fine if you have a burst assault like Lennox or Blitz. You're going to get a down if the monster focuses someone, but in exchange you'll chunk several bars of health and it'll be a worthwhile trade. For example if I'm running as Laz and I get focused, by the time I become incapped the monster is missing 5 bars of health just from that engagement alone.

There's an actual player controlling the monster. If he has half a brain hes going to go for the medic or support first. If he went for the trapper hes retarded. All you need to worry about is dealing damage.
