They made the ult explode faster and they kind of liked the idea that you could spontaneously ult if you were about to lose the mech anyway but making it explode faster means it's likely to kill D.va too so they just removed it from the equation.

Reaper and Rein can still kill her while she is ejecting and survive the explosion.

That is a neato idea. I don't know, maybe have the ult eject her further from her mech so she has more time to escape, and leave the risk of it killing her in there? Just makes no sense to have her be invincible to her own mech when Pharah can be damaged by her rockets, Tracer by her sticky, etc.

Mercy's ult is still going to be busted.

They should just reduce the amount of time she has to rez people. Make it like 2 seconds. Then she can sustain fights by rezzing small casualties or maybe a team that got wiped by a single ult.

But goddamn am I tired of a prolonged teamfight where we kill her first, and then by the time we've finished off her team she flutters back from the spawn and rezzes all the assmunches.

I liked it being a gamble. Plus, we got great moments out of suiciding Divas, including famous rein returning the mech to sender webm.

Yeah, I've been finding I can't quite make it to cover in most situations anymore.

Well, you won't be at a disadvantage that's for sure. I'm probably just used to her being absolutely useless in game, so the change just comes across as a bit of a shock. She seems pretty powerful on PTR now, I'd give her a shot for sure.

Except I find her ult before was actually pretty decent if you timed it well and used her rocket boost. Now it just seems like you don't need any skill to make sure it's timed well or you don't die to it.
