Okay I've some help for anons who own an iPhone 4s and are going insane because of whatever reasons.
Optimize your iPhone speed in general
>Clean space
>Reduce animation features (turn parallax off)
>Disable GPS for other Apps
>Disable Background App Refresh
>Always close all Apps besides Go
>Clean RAM everytime you start Go (hold down the power button until the "shut down screen" appears, now hold down the homebutton until it disappears again

So I just caught a Zubat at 245 CP, and I noticed it's closer to cap than my Zubat with 256 CP. They have the same attacks (Bite and Air Cutter) and the 256 one is an XS in weight and normal height, while the 245 one is normal in both.
Does lower weight and/or height mean better CP?

The bell curve in how much EXP is required relative to the increase in CP you see from wild pokemon is completely out of whack. They aren't noticeably stronger for an insane amount of exp per level. When you evolve a poke, you get a candy as if you transferred it.
So twelve Pidgeys will net you twelve more candies to evolve a thirteenth, plus the the thirteen candies you'd get to evolve a fourteenth when you transfer the Pidgeottos.

Honestly, I hate being approached with the intent of flirting with me. It puts me on the spot and makes me nervous. If someone saw me today and was like "hey you play pokemon, what team are you, what'd you catch" then i'd be a lot more at ease and talk to them.
