honestly why are we having such a spergout over Darkest Hour not being in the top part of the info pic? I agree that it's probably more popular than EU Rome (who even plays that dead game?) but even in the info pics without it they still include Kaiserreich in the mods area which, lets be honest, is 80% why people still even play with the other 20% being other mods.

True, but if we're being honest vanilla Darkest Hour shouldn't be included either. Why don't we just prune the bottom two game positions and put them in Misc + Oddities, Distant Worlds isn't posted much here anymore (pretty sure the stellaris/civ/4x thread is where they mostly post now) and Darkest Hour only gets veteran players wanting to try a different grand strat game or through watching someone else playing anymore. That and I can't ever recall seeing someone posting EU Rome here any time I've browsed gsg. Would nullify this stupid argument while still keeping info on all three games in the pic.

Personally I'd agree with you, although I do think Darkest Hour is definitely fading away as your new gamers first WW2 grand strat choice and you only really see people post DH here if they're playing mods. But really my point was to offer a way to neuter this stupid shit flinging since its reminding me of that shitstorm we had over Aurora that could've been solved similarly

Yes, it's pretty easy. Try HoI3, combat is way better.

They do have a .mod file. The problem is that anytime i start them up the file disappears.
