So YummyTiger just posted that his "translation" is at least machine aided and that his skill wouldn't be high enough for a literal translation.
Is there any reason to have any hope in this?

I would say a lot of "translators" like him should come clean too. It's not necessarily a bad thing it's machine aided but it's definitively not ideal.

Why aren't all of Fullflap's games translated

All of them are great. They must be translated, especially Shinseiden and the Mushroom one

Considering he also decided that the original creator did not do a good enough job, so he would fill the holes and add to the game, all of that based on this kind of translation, I'd argue it is a pretty bad thing.

Because most of them are just simple platformers or action games with barely any text?

Shinseiden is the only one with a decent amount of text and that only just came out last month.

If anyone was fluent enough in Japanese to understand everything, they wouldn't even go through all the trouble of translating a game... especially for free.
Did he release his translation yet though?

He does get publicity and Patreon money out of it though, so "for free" is not really accurate.
And no, he did not.

If people wanted "ideal" then they wouldn't be playing rpgmaker games.

Which one should I do first, Normal or Empire route?
