See right now monsters run away when the dome comes down, and how does the dome come down fast enough? You do damage. You shred though his armour like nothing and go straight to health damage. The monster won't risk 3 extra health bars just to put one strike on the medic when the dome is already down.

A competent monster would run away as soon as the dome is down

I'm afraid to spend my currency on perks, since some seem to be only really good on certain characters and you seem to unlock them by leveling stuff
