So I just read in legion they are stripping almost all of hunter pets unique buffs. I now have a ton of pets with cool skins that do literally nothing. I am still going to play hunter in legion, but I thought this was the expansion for class identity? How is it more iconic for all my pets to only be good at biting stuff and nothing else?

I'm thinking of making a new toon and leveling them with out heirlooms, disabling minimap, disabling that blue highlight on maps for quest, and making leveling in zones I never go to. Do you guys think its a good idea?

Nah, the way I like to level is very scattered through out my day, so I doubt some one will be patient enough for me hopping on an off so often
