they're assets i've compiled over the years stuffed into resource files
my diplomacy or modified tocan's should have most of them, though it's been a while since i've updated them

the new_native one is just assets from original M&B that didn't make it to warband but still look fine

basically, but it uses the offset_musket flag to flip the mesh over in order for the model to represent it correctly
there's no other way otherwise unfortunately, since changing the alt mode mesh won't do anything since mesh updates don't happen in scenes like that

it shouldn't do, beside the diplomacy one having more assets in the resource file since it's easier to update and the tocan's one is kind of an abandoned project now

that's because tocan's already has PBOD formations but you could turn the WFAS formations on if you want

i think so, claimant dialogue isn't very long anyway it's only something like 40 lines for all claimants and king responses, the rest is generic dialogue they all share

If I'm not interested in making use of all of those assets (it seems they aren't actually used, just present), are they basically a non-addition for me then?

Seem's I will DL tocan's modified then. The troop standardization and PBOD+freelancer make it seem like an improvement on the modified diplomacy (and the changes I am seeing on the forums seem alright), and your listed downsides seem fairly minor.
