I have an app idea. It's very simple to make but I don't know anything about programming.

Where do I find a reliable partner that won't screw me over?

Right here, buddy. Assuming your idea doesn't suck total ass.

give me your idea and I'll do it

chances are, your idea has already been thought off

what is your plan?
if its a good one it wont matter if you share it here btw.
its all about implementation.
no dumbass here is gonna code a sufficiently marketable app, or they would have done it already. and if they have, they dont have time to be working on a new project. thats how it goes.
i work with y combinator. ill tell you if it has a shot or not before you even go forward.

at least say what category its in if nothing else.

ill let you know if theres demand right now , with investors

how?

nope

> how?

I'll make a spam Gmail, you can send me the general idea and I'll let you know whether it's worth my time. And if you should proceed with it. I am a mobile app dev at a pretty large firm.

Roastpork4233 at gmail

Nobody will screw you over because you're an "idea person" and don't have any skill to create this. The person with the skill can actually make it, if you're lucky they'll give you a 10% cut.

It's a heartstone type of game but made for a specific niche.
I was hoping of launching it in my country first (east. europe) wich will gather only ~50.000 players then exapand it to the rest of the world and implement a premium sub.

I can. I do it for a living. You're right that I generally have a lot on my plate, but if the idea is good enough, I can make time.

>reliable partner who controls all of the important parts of production
>getting him or her to sign a contract
>implying they won't steal your idea upon the discussion prior to reading the contract

The short answer is to teach yourself how to program.

We'll, first, that isn't an easy thing to make. It takes animation and image resources, it takes a lot of background implementation of each card. Even Blizzard fucks up regularly on hearthstone. What makes you think this would be worthwhile? Especially when hearthstone exists and is good.

>has an app idea
>heavy graphics dependency
You're looking at hundreds of thousands in startup costs, user.

it dosn't have to look like blizzard material at first. it can just be a table and some cards since it has to look simple.

Dude, make a fake email and email me at roastpork4233. Explain to me how making a cheap clone is going to be marketable.

you don't understand, the complexity isn't the looks, but the game itself. just getting a game like that on command line could take a significant amount of time and resources.

the animation would surely have be done separately no matter who you hire.

this isn't the easy endeavor you think it is.

heathstone is crazy complex under the covers.

However there are open source equivalents for card games with all the rules already coded, that need to only be customized. search on github.

can't you just steal the code from another similar looking game and modify it enough so it looks original?

I can't

Then what are you even asking for? I can't help you without details. Now this just seems like a troll. Gr8 b8 m8. There is no point in making a hearthstone clone. It's time expensive and already done better by Blizzard. Unless you can convince people otherwise no one will make this for you.

please link the github you are talking about. i would love to see that code.

Lol
> we clones spider solitaire without assets, you could probably make a real game from here...

exactly. it seems like these guys just want to jew me out of my money

ok thanks for your time

also , don't mean to discourage you, but games is the most oversaturated space in tech.if you can imagine,
everyone wants to work on and program games, so it has the best programmers , lol.

No one is trying to jew you. You said you had a unique idea, which you clearly dont. The only way to make you idea unique is in the implementation. Custom implementation takes time and money. Even customizing other code takes time.

If you want a cheap clone anyone could make it, just find a app building firm or learn to code. But there is no reason to be secretive about it. No one can steal an idea that isn't yours.

Your idea is worthless.

If you have capital then do whatever you need to do to make it and protect it.

Stand in line with the other 1 billion people who think they have the greatest app idea ever but can't program.

Thanks for reminding me

if they're african then I have a chance

I have so what I need is a programmer and maybe lawyer.

couldn't find an app building firm

> couldn't find a firm...

MentorMate will do it for a lot of money and it will take awhile. I offered my help, but you won't let me help you.

>lawyer.
Absolutely a lawyer. You need an iron-clad NDA and an iron-clad employment contract.

Given how flighty the app industry is, you're gonna have to protect your ass.

you said there is no point in making a hearthstone clone

and I meant firms in my country not us. how much does the one you suggested cost?

It's not in the US, it's in Bulgaria or something. I think around a million, maybe more, depends on the app.

And I said there is no reason to buy the clone, if you pay me, that's the reason to make it.

how much?

Couldn't say without more details, that's why I invited you to contact me privately.

why should I trust you?

just how much will a card game with low quality cost then?

Somewhere in the thousands. There are some Gane mechanics on git hub, but I would have to implement a gui and whatever custom cards you want. More expensive if I have to make the assets.

I can send you my resume if you need it. I have a bachelor's in cs, with an emphasis on mobile apps. I work at a firm as a mobile app dev. If you don't trust me, go pay millions to mentormate.

and how will the contract go

see

I'm not that we'll versed in contract negotiations, though I know a few guys. You can send me some drafts and we can negotiate terms l.

Or not, I guess...

>and how will the contract go
lol your employee doesn't tell you how the contract goes, you're supposed to tell him.

Contactor, but still true

Can quiz game apps be profitable? I have idea for one.

I have no idea about contracts. what's a draft?

A draft is a working copy. So, you send me what you think is reasonable, then I will comment on it, and we work to reach a mutually agreed upon version.

We'll family feed is doing well, but it's based on a preexisting show, as are most of the successful ones.

Feud

>wants to start a business
>has an idea
>does jack shit
>waits while partner does work
>waits for customers to pay back partner
>maybe partner breaks even eventually
>be CEO of successful business now

Super A+ Great Job. This happens ever.

hey bro you can trust me

What language would be the best to program what op is looking for?

Java, if you use CodenameOne
