You're fine. I was able to afk the task with a blood necklace and soul split. You're going to need prayer potions though and overloads are nice if you have them.
Also use Blitz. Barrage doesn't trigger on ability. Don't bring a shard if you want an easier time or bring a shard if you want to fight things one by one.
