THIS is the endgame monster in Gen? Out of all four new flagships he has the worst shitboxes, and they make him the MHGen's Rajang? At least the ape had only one annoying attack with broken hitbox. Dino's whole fight is full of counter-intuitive lingering aoe hitboxes.

Are Tropical Berries a myth?
I don't think I ever got any in 4U, and now I have to gather 20 of them.

So I'm that fucking shitter from the last thread crying about cephadrome. Swapped to aerial cb and it was a lot more manageable. No carts and cut down time from almost running out to 20 mins w/o sonic or barrel bombs.

Still made a fuckload of mistakes but I think the aerial style might be my new favorite. Gotta try it out on other monsters.

What art should I use on aerial cb?

Yeah, they have ridiculously bloated hp pool in those surprise quests. But they can be killed. You don't get any special dialogue if you do, the game just assumes you didn't kill them.

When I did the ACTUAL Glavenus mission, I killed it in sub-15 with a Hammer with only 10 more power than the SnS.

Gather at the HERB spots, not at NUT spots.
Also, the gathering nodes which can get you the berries are fixed.

You can press A and climb safely down in some places and I assume you can climb all the way down.
But that's retarded and you should just eat for Lander.

Climb down with A in certain spots, make small drops in others. You climb the whole way down and then the rest is easy

Dinovaldo was easy. Took me the least time of all the flagships. Now Raizex quest I finished with two minutes on the timer left. Had to fight him in Loc Lac set. Thankfully I had Felyne Lander active, so I delivered those two eggs quickly and safely.

So why does it save to the SD card? Is it really to combat the Power Saves? Or something else.

It used to be impossible, pre-gen4 and depending on how many of the egg-quests you did in 4U (or if you remembered them) you might have never had to use that option.

Aerial GS is fun

Yes, they're handled better than previous scare quests. Zinogre's in P3rd was a shitty invasion after killing a Bulldrome and it really wasn't a worry. Tigrex, however, in FU was when the first thing you met once you encountered it was it charging at you and throwing snowballs. Lagiacrus was dull because it'd just leave if you did enough damage to it. 4U was better with its several Gore Magala encounters, though, but its Seregios intro was dumb.

I didn't use Aerial and Gammoth was easy in the actual quest. I gave up on the intro quest because fuck fighting a health bloated mammoth with Kut-Ku duals when they'd drop below yellow sharpness in the time it took you to wound his leg. Had I known I'd run into Gammoth in that quest I'd have taken duals that weren't atrocious.

I did read the dialogue, you're told that there's something that scared off the anteka, not that it's a health bloated giant mammoth hanging out up there in a Popo quest. There's a difference between fighting FU's Tigrex and fighting Gammoth the tremor giant

No.

Striker lance is op, but relies on the charge spam, so even more disruptive than LS.

Fast and furious. Much high mobility and the arts are insane especially the counter one

They both are really underwhelming. I mean even SnS HA is better for KOing than Hammer's. But evasions aren't any more exciting to use either. And aren't really necessary if you run adept Hammer. Except the free sharpening.

Am I supposed to take Tigrex over Narga weapons every time?

I see weapon recs for Narga and am confused.

Narga is way earlier available than Tigrex, so maybe that's why it gets recommended? I dunno.

Tigrex and Hellblade Dino weapons are the only weapons worth using in the new game. The weapon variety situation is much worse than it was in 4U.
