How are combos in KoF? I've heard you have to really be on point with hit confirming into supers. Are they mostly hit confirms > 1-2 frame link into another normal > chain into command normal > special. Also, what does MAX Mode do?

Ah yes, when I learned counting at school I remember that we started at 14. No KoF has ever been balanced and no KoF ever will, that's their appeal.

I believe they had a Juri trailer, but since Capcom is scared of ESPN exposure (to the point they said to Fuudo to put on the Story costume instead of the default one because "it was less unveiling") they didn't show it.

SFV was longer than it was supposed to be on ESPN and I think ESPN really wanted that shitshow to be off their channel so the trailer wasn't shown

Combos are either close heavy/1-2 lights > command normal > special > super > advanced/climax cancel if you have the meter

Max mode lets you use EX moves and reduces the cost of level 2 and 3 supers by 1 bar, but costs one bar to activate. Its effect on combos is going to differ per character but generally it's likely to be close heavy/1-2 lights > command normal > MAX mode activation > close heavy > command normal > one or two EX specials > Super

Some characters do require links to confirm off of lows, Ralf in XIII had a 1f link off of his but I don't know if that's changed in XIV

Any DIY guys here have recommendations for buttons and a case?

I bought a PS360+ a year ago and never got around to using it because I had access to a laser cutter in my university. I just graduated after procrastinating on it for an entire year, and now am just going to buy the case.

I was looking around on TEK workshop, but wasn't sure if I should just go for the DIY case that they provided. It looks nice enough honestly, and I could definitely use it. Considering it's $58 for the cut, that seems pretty good, since if I were to buy the acrylic and make the CAD myself, it would probably actually come out to be more expensive.

I would probably go with this case, but not sure on a good cheap set of buttons and a joystick. On focusattack they had a sale on the hayabusa stick, so I might just go with that.

Any assistance would be great.
