Is this monster programmed to run right up to a trap and then stop and fly over it? He has done this 3 times in one hunt. The only time I have ever landed a Rathalos in a trap is when I let it sleep.

Only Ammo boost, it get's better with artII so you can actually fire more than 8 shots. With II you can empty 80% of a siege mode before it recharges. I guess I should at least try the others, nova seems useless, and the same with the rain for adept.

Switching between gunpowder and absolute evasion/battle, some monsters let you spam gunpowder , while others you'll need evasion.

Alright, so I've never touched SnS because it never looked like my kind of weapon until these buffs gave it so many toys to play with. Striker, Oils, etc.
That said, for solo hunting, which of these is likely to be better? I was gonna farm some LR Narga for a bit because I like the armor and wanted to get some SnS practice in at the same time.

Absolute Evasion. I'm finding that my times are better when I just focus on going in and out of siege mode instead of using either of the offensive arts. That supernova attack seems like it does like 5 or 6 shots worth of damage, but it takes longer than just shooting off 6 shots.

Poison has always been ok When you're shit at the game it's great because it does dmg even when you don't take advantage of all a monsters tells.

Poison is worse than shit. Especially for SnS in this game. Either make one for each element and switch depending on the monster you're hunting, or make the Narga SnS and raw everything to death.
