Pre-patch State of the Game:

The game is horribly imbalanced right now. People have stopped playing to wait on the patch.There's only about 8-10 heroes that are considered "good" in competitive play:

>Roadhog
>Rein
>Zarya
>Tracer
>S76
>Reaper
>Gengi
>Lucio
>Mercy

Every other character is a complete liability to the team, while some characters are completely and utterly broken in their current state:

>McCree
>D.Va
>Mei
>Hanzo
>Widowmaker
>Zenyatta

Virtually all streamers & competitive players have fled to PTR seeking a more balanced game.

We've been promised a patch and new character, but that promise was but a mere distant voice in radio static with no status updates for the masses.

Overwatch is my first FPS game and honestly i don't understand the sensitivity thing
optimally, should i aim my gun by moving my entire arm and hand or should i wiggle my wrist?

my mouse has 800Dpi and i tried to copy one of the pros like Seagull using 8 sensitivity and holy hell it's real damn hard to aim with my wrist
does lower sensitivity ideally aimed to aim with entire forearm? should i increase it if i feel that playing with wrist is more comfortable

sorry if i sound dumb, i just want to get better at the game. 3 days in and it was a really fun experience

Yes. Don't worry though, many people get by on years of wrist aiming but it has its limits. And some feats will seem impossible, because it kind of is with wrist aiming.

It depends on your mouse, Windows sensitivity, workspace, etc.

Every people is different, everyone should use what is best for them.

I use a relatively low sensitivity, and I only have to move my wrist with a Kana V2 and stock Windows sens + no accel.
Though, best players usually have big ass mouse mats, very low sensitivity and almost an entire desk of movement space. But, that is veeeeeeeeeeeeery far from you, so don't worry about it.

Wrist is fine if you dont plan on going pro or soemthig like that. Its a little difficult to have enough space to play with a big mouse pad.

Her unscoped shot is a projectile while the scoped shot is hitscan for more reliable healing. Tho Ana's heal bullet are larger than Hanzo's arrows hitbox wise so I dunno.

well, the wrist is if you have a high sensitivity, arm is if you have a lower one, if you have enough space to move your mouse around you can do both. But after that it's really personal preference, that's why it's a changeable setting, try a slow sensitivity for a day, then go for a high one if you want. Also, remember, it's usually easier to lead targets and do precise aiming with a lower sensitivity, while it's easier to turn around and switch targets with a higher one.

Not "literally unplayable" but some key things need to be re-worked. PTR looks like it's doing that decently well.

We'll have a new healer, McCree, and D.Va stepping up to be added to the upper list. S76 MAY be bumped out of usefulness, but I doubt it due to his self heal.

Personally, I still think most of the defense characters need a re-work. They don't do enough damage to stop a push on defense (except maybe bastion). They're a complete liability on Attached. And for the most part utterly useless on KotH.

Most top aimers with a low sens will use both their forearm and wrist to aim. When to use each is just something you pick up with experience. Seagull's sens is on the high side so I wouldn't be surprised if he's a pure wrist aimer. Pick something you are comfortable with, it'll probably lie between 4 and 8 sens if you're on 800DPI, and just practice a shitton.

I don't know how many times I typed this up. Devs said about 2 weeks max on Ster's stream (which was 6 days ago). 14 - 6 = 8. 8 days max. So 8 days or sooner.

I'm so beyond sick of teamstacks in competitive. I get put in with much lower-rank teammates while they get multiple high-70s who are in Teamspeak together.

What is the logic in this? Being in a group should weigh you toward having higher ranked enemies, not lower. The matchmaking is broken to fuck. You should not even be queueing into 6 soloers as a teamstack ever, let alone with a team rank advantage of 10+

They do, got a few PotG with d.va and Winston last session. Reinhardt feels harder to get PotG with though, takes more hard work.

Zarya is easily one of the best characters in the game right now and will probably stay that way for a while.
