Instead, he went and asked sensei for help like a beta, and everything turned okay through sheer fucking chance. Oh, and he now works minimum wage in a convenience store, and Nemu has no memory of him whatsoever. Thanks, you hack of a writer.

I've said this before, but they should've cut the shitty teacher route, and the shitty loli route and just focused on the ending.

Honestly a kekaku doori would have been worse. The protagonist is competent but he isn't a genius. I think the ending would have been fine if there wasn't a time skip and if it wasn't rushed.

I can buy into this because of her trauma at the end. Suppressing memories is actually something that people have done in real life as a self-protection mechanism. It also explains why Kanae was on the run with her. It's obviously hinted that she has a soft spot towards children (probably in part due to her own shitty childhood), and a babbling Nemu acting like a pitiable kid is a good enough reason for her to run away with her. It's not much, but it works, and at least it was a good reason.

Honestly it's probably better this way for her in the long run considering all the shitty stuff she had to do in Euphoria for the protagonist's love, and her numerous other traumatic experiences.

As it stands it's a pretty good story as far as nukige go. Parts are better than the whole, however. What really makes Euphoria stand out is the atmosphere. It's very good at that.
