the fuck kinda name is Quackenbush?

is phantomlord going to jail

never eem heard of csgobig 2bh

The only thing the letter says is "S-stop using bots for your site or we'll ban your accounts!"

Literally every game has problems with bots and literally every game has threatened at various points to sue/kill/rape/murder the bots that use their game. But lo and behold, bots haven't gone anywhere. For every account you ban 5 more can be created easily

>he thinks csgolounge will be taken down

>valve running csgo into the ground
>valve running tf2 into the ground even harder
>valve is doing whatever with doto
>valve is ran by a fat beta faggot that got bullied by a brony in a tf2 trade server
>valve has more employees in steam support than people working on all of their games combined
>steam support is still almost trash
>all this downtime
>all this disappointment
>everything under wraps
>bad anti cheat for all source games

gogurts
i wanna go of this train

Everybody's cheating, why do you still watch this game

game has never been more alive desu

maybe I'll be able to watch some streamers on twitch again because they'll actually be playing the game instead of gambling

bots in other games don't run businesses which leave huge amounts of skins and use available APIs

it's not the same at all

that op gets smaller and smaller, just like the playerbase :^)

Don't they have to whitelist the bots or something? So they don't have to wait 3 days to trade?

yes it will, read the letter :)

csgolounge relies on valve not banning their bots and API use

>What are gold farming bots

Yeah surely poor Valve is the only one to ever deal with people profiting off of exploits in their trade system.

bots who read/write game memory to farm and don't use skins to trade via API

you need mobile authentication for steam my man :)

>Valve actually did it

Lmao what fucking morons. The whole scene is going to die.

good
betting scene is not a gaming scene

dota 2 doesn't have it, lol doesn't have it, fgc doesn't have it

>gaming community
hey reddo

>muh gaming scene

Lmao glhf getting any updates to this dead fucking game

dota lol csgo and starcraft all have betting scenes (idk what fgc is) there literally is a dota2lounge and almost all sportsbooks offer esports
as annoying as bettors can be, lots of communities thrive off them. not even just csgo, or esports, but actual sports too. overall betting is good for the game

All of those games you listed have betting.

The only thing they didn't have was stupid fucking 13 year olds crying about "Muh unregulated betting"

dota2lounge is laughably small (due to items as well) and all those games do not have a gambling scene, a normal gambling site that covers VARIETY of sports adding it does not make it have a scene like in csgo.

in csgo you had casters having gambling sites specifically for csgo, remember ezkins :)

dazed is sperging the fuck out

thats like 5 videos in 24 hours
the absolute madman

All those games also receive support from their parent company. Riot exerts full control over the pro LOL scene.

CSGO has none of those. The Majors have a laughably bad prize pool and simply put it won't be worth it for tournaments to exist or for smaller orgs to sponsor team.

So congrats, you killed the entire scene save for a few teams/tournaments. But hey, at least Fucktard Franky can't ask mom for her credit card and blow 500 dollars being a retard.

valve directly pays for Majors my man

those gambling sites don't fund anything

longue is dead

skin betting on matches is dead

venture capital and sponsor money will shrink as viewership plummets

enjoy your 300k viewer "majors" gotards

>dazed having an autism fit because he knows he's going to get caught having done something shady

VC's is not real money anyway

better have real sponsors instead of sharks

You completely missed everything I said. The prize pool for majors is jack fucking shit. And without smaller tournaments to keep them alive there's no reason for the majority of the CSGO esports scene to exist.

You can be a bad League team and still be drowning in sponsors/money because the scene is small, controlled, and gets massive exposure.

CSGO has none of those things. Gambling sites helped with exposure, and propped up smaller teams/tournaments that allowed the scene to thrive.

But go ahead and have fun with those majors. I'm sure they'll have reasonably as many viewers.

so? still better than Insurgency and that's my only alternative to CS

no, go f**k yourself with OW

moron

valve also sponsors the minors :)

muh VCs

can we all agree that reddit is the reason all of these sites are going down and that reddit also ruins everything in general

>csgoatse

sites are going down due to the lawsuit at valve, so valve had to take action before the court date

someone go buy my skins :]

gotze

Wow. Well I stand corrected than thanks :)

Have fun with your gaming scene surviving when its prize pool for tournaments is already laughably bad compared to other eSports and Valve just killed its viewership.

>karl quakenbush

lmao

more like karl cuckenbush

lmao

valve sponsors all of the dota 2 scene as well my man

Even Richard Lewis recognizes CSGL going down is bad and catastrophic for the game/scene.

But hf dancing in the streets reddit. You sure saved irresponsible fucktards from being irresponsible until they find the next opportunity.

feels good nigga
fk lounge

>An 18million+ prize pool is the same as a prize pool of 1 million

And this time last year with gambling, the prize pool didn't change as well

gambling doesn't do anything except fund the owners

...

keep redd*t posting

Why are you venting here and who are you raging at exactly? You think anyone here or on Reddit has anything to do with this? retard

>tfw you realize that someone somewhere trusted a CS:GO skins gambling site titled "csgoatse.com" with their hard earned cash

What has this world come to

Betting on matches isn't the same as a grey market for gambling skins, ya dingus

>csgoatse actually exists
Holy fuk

It's the site's fault. Why should anyone have to be accountable for their decision making?

yeah it is considering that online gambling isn't allowed in the US
all the sportsbook/casino/poker sites i bet on are unregulated, just like all the csgo gambling sites

Euro betting sites do not actually let US citizens play

lmao I've never given a fuck about this gambling shit but that site looks professional as fuck, they must've gotten dosh

Because 13 year old kids are stealing their parents credits cards to gamble their CS:GO skins because some youtuber faggot told them they would be millionaires

I guess

they require proof of ID when you withdraw and some even block US IPs as well

PL is banned

eachfags on suicide watch

There's like half a million gambling sites that aren't being shut down. This is pointless.

they are being sent in waves so they can monitor them, would be stupid to have a huge ass list at once

fugg, i just wish lounge wouldnt get affected

youtube.com/watch?v=aR5ELoh0IPI

it is gambling after all, they would've been screwed in the lawsuit court date

>tfw the next major has like half as many viewers

I don't even care, I'm glad this happened even if it might shaken up the scene. You gamblecucks need help

same
lounge was good for csgo imo
there were tons of people betting on every game which drove up the amount of viewers for every game
all these shady fuccboi coin flip sites ruined it
the funny thing is that idiots like phantoml0rd and other """"famous"""" streamers that owned sites still could have made a shit ton of money if they just admitted that they were owners from the beginning and advertised it on their streams instead of being fraudulent

Matthew Bailey @Cyborgmatt 55m55 minutes ago

This letter has also been sent to a number of other similar sites that fall under the same category which weren't included in this list.

csgolounge can continue, they just need to use real payments

which means they have to a secure payment gateway and non-US only :)

>all these shady fuccboi coin flip sites ruined it

seriously, fuck all of those streamers/CODfags. especially the CODfags, like stay out of the CS scene and stick to that shitty esport

>tfw you play roulette for skins inside of a man's gaping asshole

Based csgoatse

csgolounge could probably still take US bettors if they wanted, but they would obviously have to use real $$$ and not skins
afaik the site itself is fine, its just the steam bots that have to be removed

I don't give a shit about this gambling shit, I just want the cheaters to be exposed and banned already. Preferably live on stream at a LAN, that would be glorious.

happening
twitter.com/RLewisReports/status/755614857748221952

they would risk their entire business again if they allow US players

>lounge going to die

:(

Some of those cowadooty faggots like Syndicate and Rain transcended e-celebrity status to the point of not even having to play video games anymore, they can just make fucking vlog clips showcasing their lavish adventurous lifestyle and get fucking millions of views. It's actually insane

So what's the premier trading site for CS:GO now that lounge is being shut down?

lol

Lounge is just going to shut down their betting side judging from the C&D letter

>they can just make fucking vlog clips showcasing their lavish adventurous lifestyle and get fucking millions of views. It's actually insane
i mean, if they got all of that shit from doing COD shit that's fine, but its another thing to think they got all that good shit from this shady shit

that's what's going to happen when there's a (potetntially) billion dollar untapped market. if you really think about how much money was going into skin gambling every month, its insane. the skin gambling market is like 100x bigger than the skin market itself. Valve is making a shit ton off selling keys and taking a percentage of all csgo steam market sale, but gambling site owners are probably making more than them. it actually kind of baffles my mind to think about how much money is involved.

same thing happened to online poker in the US in 2011. Full Tilt Poker was the best online poker site, making tons of money, ran by 2 older guys. The site was extremely trustworthy and literally every pro played on it. Turned out that they were running a ponzi scheme for something around 700 mil iirc and ruined the entire game for everyone

KEK

Anybody got a link to where I can watch the steam market value crash in real time?

I always get a massive boner watching millions of potential dollars go down the drain and nothing beats the feeling of jacking off to the tears of thousands of people losing all their money because they didn't know when to pull out.

shit why isn't this a thing, surely someone made a site for the steam market like real markets

>gamblefag tears

Those bleaters are going to be comitting sodoku in droves

>Dust 2, T side
>You just pushed A long with an AK, got two trade kills and one-tapped the last guy on A ramp
>As you take site, your teammate with a P90 pushes up to an aggressive hold on cat by the stairs
>As such you decide to plant for cat
>While this is going on, your last teammate that was lurking B tuns informs you that one of the remaining CTs has an AWP and that they rotated while you were taking A site
>After hearing both of them leave, he pushed through B site and is heading for CT
>What do you do?

If the answer is peek long, congratulations, you have zero fucking game sense.

You can have a literal graph of your inventory value from csgo.steamanalyst.com/

unfortunately for you, shit's not really going to go anywhere

I maybe lost $50 steambux from valve announcing they're shutting shit down, this isn't like to make a dent either

It is and always has been Opskins and the trading reddondit

What will valve do if lounge refuses to cease and desist?

Rape them

ban their bots, ban their IPs from using the API

even asiimovs haven't really gone anywhere
