When I was 18 I bugged my friend nonstop for 2 weeks to let me go to a carmax dealer auction with his dad's dealer license and buy cars with it. He finally let me. I wen't and paid $3200 for a '96 nissan maxima, sold it a week later for $4650. I went again and paid $3000 for an '05 passat, sold 3 weeks later for $4200. Went again and bought an '03 acura cl type-s for $3200, sold it a week later for $4500. This went on for a long time. Finally got my own dealer license cause the guys dad talked to me and told me he was having to pay taxes on all this shit. Paid him his money. Now I do this full time. Easy money.
Find a nice and git gud. I fix Diesel Generators on remote oilfields in Canada and alaska. Depending on the job im months away at a stretch. I get around $90+k a year Plus benefits.
It's pretty awesome and I enjoy the Lifestyle a lot.
If you're making 650 a month, that means you're only taking home 162.50 a week. You really should be working more.
I don't know what it's like in the US, but I'm in Canada, and I made it by working 7 days a week 12 hours a day on minimum wage, sharing an apartment with like 4 other guys, so my share of the rent was $400 a month (live in an expensive as shit city, you can guess which one of the two), saving up in tax sheltered savings accounts, and then once I had enough I only worked 5 days a week, 10 hours a day, I went to get a degree through a college that offered online courses. Got a degree in about 2 years, got a slightly better job, which I could at least earn $750 CAD a week working 5 days a week, 10 hours a day. Saved up some more and then got a better job, where I made $1000 CAD a week, working 5 days a week 10 hours a day. Then I moved out of that apartment and now share an apartment with another guy, and we split the rent $500/800, with me taking 500 because I sleep in the smaller room while he gets the bigger room, and he's home more.
Planning to save enough for a downpayment for a small home, which I plan to move into, live in the basement, and rent out everything else.
Eat very simply, if you just buy lentils and some cheap veggies with some salt and the occassional treat to a good sit down restaurant, you'll be saving enough money. I mooch off free wifi at stores. Have a decent 2006 laptop and I have brick phone with a $20 monthly plan where I've 50 minutes and unlimited texting.
Also it pays to not drive, as I ride my shitty $20 bike everywhere. I've had my bike stolen like 10 times now but I only ride shitty ones so it's not that big of a deal. I get my exercise.
I know I'm stupid, but at least I work hard and I'm doing better than some other stupid people lol

Get a part time job, read books on finance and investing, get some easy certification for a higher paying job like cna or some shit, save everything you dont absolutely need to spend for survival, treat yourself every now and then to stay sane, invest in real estate or stocks or cars

I'm on my third year of wage slavery. I always had a feeling I wasn't going to enjoy it, so I pushed into stuff I liked: design and games. It ended up being worse because I suck at those things and other jobs are more plentiful and stable.
Now I'm a webdev on 1000€ a month. My parents are kinda fucked money wise, so I give 250€ for living with them.
I have absolutely no idea how to really capitalize on my programming skills (which are not great, just ok) or how to get into investing/stock trading/whatever brings money. My friend wants to start a business or two and is on the same path as me to leave this fucking hell, so at least I have a partner.
I seriously know nothing of this world. What should an absolute begginer do? I can fill my 2 hours of daily commute with anything.

1. Research low-investment income opportunities. Pretty straight forward and yes, they do exist. For example, free ebook publishing and 80% royalties on Amazon, or freelance work on fiverr, or affiliate internet marketing.
2. Estimate what your potential and likely earnings are for each, and find what's best for you.
3. Take action.
$300 isn't going to make you any many on meme bullshit like day trading and crypto. Best to do risk free self employment until you've built a desirable income level.
And to answer your question, I can't disclose what I'm doing specifically but it's related to the affiliate marketing niche. I found a profitable niche and created a website related to it, building traffic through social media and making money off targeted ads. I also make ~300/month side change off two ebooks I wrote for Kindle Direct Publishing. Have never done fiverr.

At home I take care of the first "business" I have with a friend, it's really microscopic and might not even return the investment (which was also microscopic).

you have to think this thru. you are currently making $650 a month, that's not even real money. if you spend next 2-6 months learning javascript you can score a $100k/y job easily. you say you don't want a job, but even if you start a business you're still working for someone else. start making some real money and save that cash for like a year, then quit that shit and do what ever you want to do. you need to understand that most businesses don't make money the first year, and most go before they ever make serious money. think long term with finance stuff.

Well, I'm not in the USA. 100k/y is 8300 a month. That's fucking ridiculous and even in the USA I believe only someone with 5+ years experience and solid portfolio could earn that. I'm an Europoor and I make 12k/y. Are you telling me I can make maybe 8 times this money with 6 months javascript experience? Are you even aware of the current job market?

I started off cleaning offices and houses. Pretty easy, just put up fliers and talk to local small businesses. For small stuff the going rate here is $75-$150 for a job you can do in one or two hours.
if you're good you'll find people offering you more work than you can do. Then you hire someone to help and go look for even more work. If you're intelligent it can easily turn into a six figure salary working part time telling other people how and where to clean.

I made more than you working 32 hours a week at walmart minimum wage OP. Everyone can get a job at walmart. You have literally 0 responsibilities. No one expects you to do your job. Any bit of your job that you actually do, makes your boss trip in bewilderment. Walmart's new minimum wage (not when I worked there) is now $10/hour, increasing based upon your department. If it weren't for being swallowed in school full time, while trying to find relevant work experience and internships, I'd gladly work full time. I no longer work at walmart, and instead opted for a work-study position that affords me even a lesser pay in result of collecting full FA benefits with no commute time and a bit more relevant work experience.
Why do people value their leisure time so significantly when it accounts for 70% of their time not sleeping? Unless you came out of the right crotch, you're going to have to spend fraction of your life grinding out a wage. The alternative is poverty. You can still live this leisure life, but you have to earn the ability to do so. Live below your income level. Work harder than the average individual (or at least as hard). Invest in age-dependent risk options. Eventually you'll have as much free time as you currently do, you just won't be sweating about how difficult it is to eat/pay rent, while living in sewers.

Find a way to monetize your skills, absolutely the best way to make money is to always keep your costs of living low, take in a room mate, live with family ( pay rent and do chores, don't be a leech)always be on the lookout for opportunities to learn or work.

I have a BAA in Child Development, which was said bullshit degree I got at Seneca in two years, it has nothing to do with my job, only reason I got it was because it was easy to get and I wanted a degree and having a BAA is better than only having a OSSD.
Hell if you've a degree in engineering, I feel like if you apply for a dealership position in some of the midtown Toronto areas (esp the Don Valley ones) you could network your way up into making $15 an hour doing something car related, which would turn to be 750 a week. I assume if you're in engineering though, you can easily work your way up to $20 an hour or even $30 or $40 an hour within half a decade.

Go get a job at Lowes or hd. Learn how to drive a fork lift, an order picker, and a stand-up . After the seasonal work ends, goto a logistics staffing company. Tell them you have MHE experience. Theye will place you in a job making at least 12hr 40-60hr a week.
After 90days get a job at the company you were placed at. They will pay you 14-16 by end of year.
Save . Take classes in something that interests you and is marketable. Your company may pay for part.
Use that to move up or move to a better job.
With over time as a lift drive I was making 52k a year.

Buy a hud home. With 3-10% down. Use any programs you can.
Live in it 1 year while fixing the up and working your warehouse job .
After 1 year. Move out and rent it for more than the mortgage payment.
Buy another hud home and repeat, do this until you have at least 4 homes .

Now you can decide if you want to be no real estate. A after 4 homes owned mortgage rules get a little weird. But you should be able to buy 1 -2 homes a year.
