DO WANT

This thing is so fucking clean. I want it and I'm not sure why.

newjersey.craigslist.org/cto/5550711786.html

That's an '88, not an '87.
>The Works RS-R model featured all wheel drive and was slightly heavier and slower because of this.
Slightly heavier, but not by much, and it had the vastly superior F6A. The RS-R is the only one worth bothering with. I'm not sure why you would go through the trouble of importing an RS-X. Looks clean at least.

>detroit.craigslist.org/okl/cto/5552334071.html
am i the only one who sees that shooped headlight

chicago.craigslist.org/nwc/cto/5544167378.html

Classic 900s are getting rare around this area, and in THAT color? With those louvers? I don't care if it's banged up a bit and needs some wrenching, that is glorious to look at.

Why is this car so cool?

It basically has a 3 cylinder turbo motorcycle engine...

It's all wheel drive...

10,000 RPM...

God damn I want it. It would tear shit up in a rally cross.

>It's all wheel drive...
No it isn't.

Shit, then I want that except the awd version ( which i thought the ad said it was)

why is the gearknob the same as the mk3 and mk4 Escort (EU) had?

...

kansascity.craigslist.org/cto/5546005212.html

If only I had a 5k to spend, This is a steal compared to what most turbo SW20s are going for in my away

north jersey has freaking everything when it comes to craigslist cars, I'm over here in the jersey shore area like eugghhh what are my options

That's pretty much pristine inside and out. If the tech's good, that's magnificent.

Interior's fucked but... V8
Does this seem like a good deal?

tampa.craigslist.org/pnl/cto/5534785402.html

I want this C30.

A cheap Audi is never a good idea.

Ok, I'm pretty clueless to this stuff. Do Audis not hold up well?

Overly complicated engineering and expensive parts make them hard to work on and expensive to pay others to work on. So when someone does go wrong (and it will) it will cost you. A shame because I think they are some of the best looking euro cars.

I feel like in terms of modern audi's, anything other than an a3 is a great car, but I'm not sure about used ones.

Be wary of this car. Its very easy to crash. You may have too much confidence in your skill driving normal FR or FF cars but this is a different beast. If you can handle it, go ahead. Otherwise I would stay back.

Well hey! This looks ni-

what in the fuck is that guy thinking, that thing is worth no more that $3k
no one cares it's a imported lhd kei car in special trim or whatever

>$10k for a 100k miles (3cyls usually grenade at this point)

>useless blanket statement

Fuck off.

learn a bit about cars, do you really believe tiny displacement, high revving 3cyl engines last long? and this one is almost 30 years old

>learn a bit about cars

The ironing...

The simple answer is: Yes, but only if.

Found the shitzuki seller.

oh well, you sure a conversationalist. c ya

You're leaving? Okay, it's not like you had anything worthwhile to say anyway.

Oh my god the other SW20s in KC are outrageously priced

tampa.craigslist.org/pnl/cto/5554573941.html

>$800
>allegedly runs
Neat.

What. Suzuki's inline 3s are well known as being very overbuilt and practically bulletproof.

Over priced. You Can get C30's with less than 100k miles for the same price. Plus it's a V1, the V2 had the better body/ color options.

> 10000$

you dont know what poor is.

I know the guy who owns this, no joke.

This exact car has been for sale for about 2 years now

I wish i was making this up

They want 27K for a 6 year old tahoe with lower mileage?
And then have the audacity to say "Hurry...will not last!"
are you kidding me

>cnj.craigslist.org/cto/5542506481.html
oh god did he shop that to look like a black hood? It's so fucking blurry.

Why do you act like it being owned by mexicans is a bad thing
Literally every mexican family I've known has babied the shit out of their vehicles; if it's in shit condition it's because they bought it like that

>owned by mexicans is a bad thing
>babied the shit out of their vehicles
That's because they're usually fucking poor so they have to. And often they have lots of shit wrong with them.

philadelphia.craigslist.org/cto/5555019250.html

this motherfucker is selling 3 suzuki X90s. he's selling his car, his daughter's car, and a parts X90 that he owns in order to raise $ to get his daughter a new car. sounds like a breddy cool family honestly

Check out this rockin civic
chicago.craigslist.org/nwc/cto/5554902922.html

98-06 audis are literally a meme. They're cheap for a reason, mainly because they have several problems (timing belts/chains, turbos if applicable, electrical gremlins) that will come up after 100k miles, and are hideously expensive to fix, or very time consuming to diy. Stay away from them, it's not worth it, it WILL break down on you

t. an upset spic

You want it because it is good. Kei cars are life.

gee having that mindset will get you far in life
being bitter must be fun as fuck

>1,752,703 miles
must've imported their entire extended family and half of the Wendy's labor force using that bad boy senpai

atlanta.craigslist.org/eat/cto/5553728877.html

Has one accident from a long time ago... Go for it?

Probably because the asking price is retarded. You could import a 660cc RS/R or RS/Z with much lower mileage for that price.

Make like you're interested and start with a low offer. Try three grand after talking him up, have cash in hand. If he tries to talk up, and if you still want it, you can always go get more.

>that feel when MR2 would be impractical right now because it would be my only vehicle, and I have to move quite a bit of sports equipment (I'm gonna need a trunk proper, not a wedge shaped frunk)

Point out the gatorade bottle being used as a coolant overflow...that alone should knock $1500 off his price...

Taco's in my area are all overpriced. Looking at a pickup style DD for preferable less than $3000. I'd be learning stick in it, and it'd be the first vehicle that I actually own

>yes I read the sticky
>yes I looked at Tacoma's, but toyota tax is heavy where I live

Is this a good start?

tampa.craigslist.org/hil/cto/5555907561.html

Lol. Holy shit.

>what are my options
find a car in north jersey and go pick it up? your state is fucking small it should be no problem

looks really rusty, and why does he have a spray painted Gatorade bottle in the engine compartment.

Truck's been in a decent wreck since the front clip's been repainted, but man those D21 Hardbody trucks are indestructible if kept away from salted roads. They are perhaps the most prevalent model of pickup truck down in rural mexico FWIW

Where do you see the front clip? Would there be anything else I'd have to look for if I go down to look for it?

No 4x4, two doors, old body style.

I bought my '00 cherokee with four doors and 4x4 for $3600 two years ago

So, it seems nice but i'd ask for a lower price even with the low miles

That back wheel just looks so fucking tiny
denver.craigslist.org/cto/5556040497.html

I mean the hood and front fenders have been repainted. Also, the fact that a hispanic is selling it spells big trouble (typically), although if you youtself are hispanic and can talk to them then maybe you can get a better feel for it.

This is a very safe bet:

I thought the Mazda B Series motors were hunks of junk and prone to failure. Care to shed some light?

Also thanks for the help so far.

RAWR

It's ready to eat crowds of people

Nigga what? Those old 12 valve motors take insane amounts of boost on bone stock bottom ends. You really can't go wrong with any of the old jap compact trucks in terms of durability (especially down south where rust is less of a problem). I think what it will come down to most is condition of individual vehicles more than anything else. If there is one distinguishing factor, I'd say it's parts availability. Toyota will be easiest/cheapest to find parts for, then Nissan, then Mazda and Mitsubishi mighty max (maybe), and finally the Isuzu pup. Ranger and S10 are obviously the easiest and cheapest to get parts for, not sure if they are in the running or not.

Yes! But really, do look for rust.

lol what? my grandfather, and then my dad had a B2200 that ran for at least 200,000miles before we sold it, and it still runs. I see the lady we sold it to sometimes.

The only thing it ever needed was an AC compressor and a transmission cooler.

How bad of an idea is this? Can anyone tell me what the coffee cup is there for? I'm gonna send the guy an email and ask why he wants to be rid of it.

Currently have a B2200, thing has 307k on it and still running strong, just got a lifter tick, but that'll be fixed soon.
