the actual digital sound of a microphone that's in a case being thumped was being broadcasted to his headset rather than his ears being able to hear the thumping through the headset
His microphone that he was speaking into also was using the headset's microphone in a way it shouldn't have and thumping the headset made it so the thumping noise went into the microphone he was speaking into, causing everyone being able to hear it. Please stay in school
