Used to be Warrior and Stalker, but the changes to Stalker made them pretty unfun for me, and Warrior just got boring. Esper is the tits though.

would the game be better off if they switched the game's rating to M or even AO, sold content catered to those demographics, and used the new revenue stream to subsidize new dungeons and raids?

The money and playerbase is in teens.

Most adults don't have the time to be dedicated nor will they spend any money.

They really need to stop sticking chua on so many of their advertisements.
I bet there'd be a lot more mechari and mordesh if they were the first playable things people saw in ads.
Do they keep using chua because it's the most commonly played race, even though that could be specifically because of that shitty box art that shows them front and center that they can't stop reusing for some reason?

Maybe they need to concentrate more on chua?

I'm pretty sure part of the reason chua and aurin are so popular is because they're advertising the furry races most.
I swear if they gave the other non-human races more screentime they'd be at least much more closely populated than they are now.

Right now the first two races you tend to see outside of humans are anime catgirls and bazinga rats, so people that like those are gonna be the ones most likely to check the game out.
Most of the other races get so little time in the spotlight new people probably can't even tell they're playable.

I think they'd be most popular anyways.

It was claimed for many years that you couldn't have cross-faction races in WoW because you needed to be able to recognize a character by their silhouette for PvP. Then they allowed pandas to be either Horde or Alliance and PvP was still just as shitty as it was before.
