The dull contrast for the new model is pretty noticeable from any distance.

Enjoy having no gap closers and a permanent 30% movement speed reduction in PvP. Nearly every class can kite you, and you hit like a sissy.
For PvE it's pretty underwhelming too. Lost a lot of DPS compared to pre-pre-patch when it comes to soloing bosses, doing dungeons and raiding.

Haven't tried prot yet, but the general consensus is that every tank right now sucks, and will suck even more in Legion.

Unless they give Paladins some crazy buffs, you should stay away from them until Legion.
