So continuing from the last thread, why is Ran unpopular? Was her route really unfinished?

I think the tsundere role was already covered quite well in the Rance series plus more than a few people probably weren't happy with the whole thing with Souun and how she was taken and how if she ends up with Rance it means she ditches Souun.

She wasn't that unpopular. Sure girls who are new and get a lot of story attention go to the top but apart from Sen the people she lost to were in the same category.

That said I don't think there is anything they could have done with her if she were still around.

It's hard to make a big judgement call without knowing the number of people who voted for what.

Which she doesn't. Her only problem with the Kanami thing was the feeling that Kanami, as her subordinate betrayed her and didn't even inform her.

In canon she gets told rather than finding out so she accepts it. And in the Kanami route she ends up accepting it anyway and even sends gifts for Rance and Kanami's daughter

Gyoukai matches that with his Shizuka and also does well with Lia and Milly.

Orion has a wildly fluctuating artstyle, so it's hard to pin down, that itself is a good point in a way. But his more serious style is pretty good.

Gyoukai has a very vibrant artstyle that comes from his self-colouring, he also makes everyone look young, for a lack of a better term. Also, very erotic.
