fuck no. BnW is awesome. HoS was just good. but only because of GOD.

>that meeting at the inn in White Orchard Replaying the game after HoS makes that part so much cooler. Love how he walks behind Geralt and winks out of existence.
Angel Evans
Post monsterfus
Jordan Baker
nth for papa
Benjamin Cruz
B&W was nice but it felt as if the devs wanted you to feel pity for syanna when I actually wanted her dead. HoS actually made me feel bad for olgierd and his wife.
Robert Thompson
>I have never won a game of gwent the AI kept winning so I gave up after a while.
You probably took on too much while your deck was still shit. The most important part is to get yourself some good cards soon, either by buying or playing against not so great players (random merchants etc.). But, if it's really not your thing, it's not your thing. It does get easier pretty quickly, though.
Jace Robinson
Yeah already knowing who he is when you meet him in white orchard makes it so much better.
I never noticed how he just gets up and vanishes into thin air behind Geriatrics back untill my second play through
Dominic Garcia
Cheers. I remember the first chest being accessible before meeting the Elder - just wasn't sure what was in there anymore. Personally, I find that armor pretty ugly, it did look sort of suitably weird though, when I wore it to meet with the Unseen.
Nathaniel Clark
But user, she's just a girl.
Hudson King
i'm so sad they look ugly when they come closer. would mouth fugg mermaids otherwise. i want her dead too. even after that hard fucking in the clouds. and i also wanted dettlaff death too. no regrets. complete video where?
Nathaniel Campbell
>wanted you to feel pity for syanna when I actually wanted her dea You didn't even feel pity for what happened in her childhood? Or even understand where her anger came from?
Ayden Ramirez
Nice fucking meme
>Wanting to clear everything in the game >See this guarded treasure >No monsters around >The only chest around has nothing to do with the icon >Check interactive map to see if its just me being retarded >Said guarded treasure is not on the interactive map >Stuck with this fucking non-cleared icon
My autism can't handle it,I'm uninstalling the game I cant keep on someone help me please im about to burst a vessel
David Watson
>on max everything (including hairworks) running around the most crowded areas of novigrad
Im still mad at CDPR for not letting us fuck one of those.
They obviously had it in mind when they gave them tits and that journal entry about them sometimes accepting courting from sailors
David Roberts
This.
Josiah Robinson
It was based on the armor from the Dracula movie but yeah it looked pretty ugly and not something that Geralt would wear
Sebastian Rivera
A very twisted and cruel girl. Even before er exile she caused the death of some you guy by the hand of his own brother just because he liked anna henrietta. That already should have een enough cause to throw her into a lions pit.
Too bad there isn't an ending where both these idiots are dead while the duchess is alive and not angry at you.
Angel Lopez
Finding Dettlaf impossible even on Just the Story
Sebastian Campbell
but she doesn't do anything just sits in my garden all day!
Christopher Nguyen
Why is Ursine so great? >can get literal immunity to monster damage >looks comfy as fuck >no retarded hood
Jordan Hill
But that was just a prank, user.
Nathaniel Campbell
What?
He's not that difficult to find.
Eli Reed
>complete video where? Give them some privacy, please.
Chase Lewis
I hate to be that guy, but the answer is git gud. It's all in getting the timing right.
Michael Roberts
reset your character, get mastercraft/grandmaster ursine, and use vampire Oil with the protective coating perk
you now have 100% damage reduction, he can't kill you, ever
works on just the story, death march, and NG+++++++++++++
Aiden Taylor
Not that user - just saying, while I know the game does want me to feel pity (and rationally, of course I do), the plot does a pretty bad job of portraying her. She doesn't have a lot of depth, really. Compare to Olgierd - while you may or may not feel sorry for him, he clearly was a broken and messed up person. Syanna is just a girl next door who had some troubled teenage years.
Alexander Clark
user she caused the death of two innocent knights and countless peasants just to kill her sister and two knights who were cruel against her. I can understand the knights but her sister was a kid when she got exiled and she also didn't really do anything against her bad reputation instead she kept doing fucked up shit.
So what? peasants aren't people, and the others had it coming after the torment they put her through.
She did nothing wrong.
Asher Foster
I don't know how exactly it would work anatomically, but agreed man. It's weird how you couldn't fuck a single siren or succubus, the two mythical creatures known for their sexuality. The "smelling bad" excuse or whatever was such a cop-out.
Jonathan Sanchez
She's just a girl, user.
Jordan Walker
I'm nearing the end of Flotsam, I know you can side with either Roche or Iorveth to leave to the next chapter, and each choice changes the game's story somewhat dramatically, from what I've heard.
Which is the best path, /wtc/? I'm leaning Roche, just because I recently beat Witche 1 and Iorveth sort of reminds me a bit of Yaevinn. He's a terrorist who will never actually bring about any change. He's trying to fight racism and hatred with racism and hatred. Roche on the other hand, helped Geralt escape from the La Valette dungeons and believed him enough to go on his word that he didn't kill Foltest, and so far, aside from being a hot--head and being a bit touchy about being a literal whoreson, seems pretty cool.
I know Roche shows up in Witcher 3, but never saw anything about Iorveth. I imagine if I don't side with Roche he won't be very friendly in 3, or will flat-out not show up, right?
Thomas Barnes
I'm more annoyed not being allowed to fuck either of the Succubi. They already did do that before, it's not like it's too smutty. Two succubi, I spared both, neither so much as offered me a blowjob. Don't know what the world's coming to.
Brody Peterson
They had to tone down the whole witcher giggalo thing because they were trying to capture a wider audience.
So we don't get nice things.
you want to plough a Succubus, you're going to have to go play Witcher 2.
Landon Powell
Let her enjoy, she deserved it. Plus, knowing how wine affects her, you can expect some fun times in the evening when she comes to Geralt's bed.
Ethan Russell
>t.Louis the sun king
Isaac Lopez
>it's a "my dodge and counter timing is just slightly off" fight
Mason Reyes
Troubled teenage years?
She was exiled from her family and friends, sexually abused and left in the forest to die in fucking winter.
What kind of fucked up place do you come from where thats "le no trabble years"
Jace Watson
>Too bad there isn't an ending where both these idiots are dead while the duchess is alive and not angry at you.
THIS. then have happy 5somes with Anna Henrietta, Triss, Orianna and Regis okay okay. for the sake of the empire's heir. i wish i could take one home.
Liam Rodriguez
It's the bats my dude, the timing sucks, it's no fighting the Orphan of Kos or Ludwig where the windows are nice and tight.
How do I get the perk? Never bothered because it was to op
Zachary Ramirez
Replay and do both.
Iorveth has more interesting and fun quests and a much better area and setting for chapter 2, it's also a longer chapter 2.
Roche has a shorter and lamer chapter 2, but a longer chapter 3, where Iorveths chapter 3 is much shorter.
Roches translates better into the 3rd game, where nothing you do on iorveths path even comes back into Witcher 3.
Overall I'd say Iorveths is more enjoyable.
Henry Wright
not to say much, I prefer Iorveth's path, and Roche doesn't hold a grudge.
>it's a "you become the witcher and have a sixth sense for dodging enemies off screen" fight
it's the second tier on alchemy
John Gomez
How can anyone justify Dettlaff is beyond me. The guy kills hundreds of innocents because his former girlfriend tricked him. He is not mentally stable and represents a menace to the world.
Mason Allen
>you want to plough a Succubus, you're going to have to go play Witcher 2. Tfw this is the main reason why I almost always side with Iorveth. Well that and also Philippa and Cynthia.
Camden White
Tell me, user, what's the problem? How far into the fight did you get?
Ayden Green
It could have been handled better, but playing the game I definitely did feel sympathy for her. But yeah, I agree, Olgierd was exceptionally well done.
>she also didn't really do anything against her bad reputation instead she kept doing fucked up shit I mean, what could she do realistically? She was already viewed as cursed, nothing was gonna change that. I'm not claiming she's perfectly innocent either, she's not, but she was dealt a pretty shitty hand.
Nathaniel Butler
The bats are brutal, I died a lot during that fight. Some guys here claim you have to sprint to the left or right when they launch, not side step or roll. I got it down where I could roll sideways and narrowly avoid it, but the margin for error is tiny and your timing has gotta be spot on.
Jordan King
Bats took me a few restarts but I got it by getting distane and listening for the audio queue rather than trying to go for an audio one so I could dodge to the side at the right time.
Thomas Wilson
Wouldn't mind a 5some with regis he is a total bro a bit too much of an humanist though.
Cameron Thomas
le hard trabble childhood years doesn't justify her murder and coup attemp against her sister. synide must be put down like a rabid dog together with her autistic pet boyfriend.
Nicholas Russell
lesbomancy
Brandon Smith
>regis was alive before the conjunction >you can't ask him how his world looked like
Daniel Johnson
which orifice do vampire prefer though?
Nolan Perry
My favourite kind of magic...
Owen Ortiz
She could atleast try to behave it would only benefit her.
Samuel Miller
>rather than trying to go for an audio one visual*
Christopher Phillips
You misunderstood me. I know that's her story. So, rationally, it is a fucking terrible story! But when you look at her, talk to her, what do you see? How does she act? "I'll call her Anise!" - that's how. Maybe it's a matter of opinion, but to me, she does not feel like a severely troubled, homicidal mastermind.
Gabriel Price
Yeah. This is probably the reason. Its sad cuz you just know that CDPR had siren sex in mind when designing the models.
Hunter Roberts
>become the witcher and dodge enemies off screen Holy fuck do I ever get into this zone a lot. My roommates, who have never played the game, will stop and watch if I'm fighting a group, and they always end up like pic related after I dodge three unseen wolves or drowners in a row.
Logan Robinson
The bats, dodge windows suck and they break quen, albeit it does less damage when it breaks it but still. the 3rd phase was easy but was out of swallow at that point.
I'll make my ursine Grandmaster level and put points into protective coating and see how that goes. Answer me this, do I fight him in poth paths?
Jaxson Bell
>Some guys here claim you have to sprint to the left or right when they launch, not side step or roll. Yep, that's what does it. The fight is a breeze if you manage to sprint away and avoid them (when the short silence sets in just before they are released).
Ryan Thomas
drowners and wolves seem to have a bit of a rhythm to their attacks.
The new B&W enemies destroy me though, aside from giant centipedes
Jaxson Johnson
>albeit it does less damage when it breaks it but still.
One shot me through Quen every time.
Nathan Turner
>was out of swallow White Raffard (can White Honey it in between) or lots of food (if you're weak, go for Gourmet perk)
>do I fight him in poth paths? Yes.
Hunter Peterson
The succubus twins regis fucked should know.
Carter Cruz
Great advice, thanks a lot guys
Christian Peterson
Theres a note about Regis homeworld looking alot like the caves where the unseen elder lives. Probably why he likes it there so much.
So vampires are subterranian. Thats why they see in the dark and dont have to eat an awful lot
Carter Taylor
>tfw no more paintings in the later witcher games
The comic book interval memory bits in 2 are neat, but I miss these already.
I'm planning on carrying the save over to 3, would you say that Roche's path is the 'canon' path, since nothing you do in Iorveth's translates over?
Kind of a shame if that's a thing, I guess they maybe wanted to settle the story more, or something.
I'm definitely replaying for Iorveth at some point, I'm just focusing on trying to do it as Geralt would for my first go, so I feel good copying it to 3, I went the Neutral Piece of Shit route in 1, doesn't look like that's an option in 2.
Isaac Thomas
CDProjekt is good at making menacing mysterious characters.
Gaunter O'Dimm gave me the same chills that the Crones did at the beginning of the game.
>I know this cunt is dangerous >I don't know how much though >Just trying to find out his origins may be suicidal
Oliver Adams
Can higher vampires procreate?
Jeremiah Fisher
Lads, if I upscale will quest items like swords I find and ex from finishing the quest go up?
This horn of plenty and gourmet got me through that.
Ryder Perez
It's just that the characters you meet barely even get a mention in Witcher 3, even though they are pretty big characters and awesome.
Doesn't make much of a difference on Roches path either though, just kinda determines how friendly Roche will be to you. Minor dialogue and tone difference.
Dominic Morris
Theres alot of things from Iorveth path that carries over. Just not Iorveth
Chase Rogers
>sexually abused She never experienced anything like that. She said she was abused, which probably involved a slap on the cheek for being a two faced, vicious and murderous cunt, but nothing else. She deserved everything that happened to her.
Jackson Hill
The crones in human form made me scared while also giing me a boner it was the best depiction fo witches I have seen in a video game.
Jonathan Martin
>mfw I only realized you could duel Olgierd after beating the DLC and watching a video on youtube
Robert Butler
Hey, her face is quite cute But then again she is less than half my weight, which creeps me out. That really her though? What did she say in the other thread?
Daniel Nelson
I suppose so? How would they otherwise survive as a species?
Since they can actually kill eachother permanently. I imagine their kids grow slow tho. Like eons slow. How do dwarfs procreate btw? Never see any dwarf kids and the females have beards so is Zoltan really a girl?
Thomas Lee
Gaunter is such a great character. One of my favorites in any video game, I'd say. The part with the guy trapped in the circle inside his own home was soul-crushing.
>Gaunter makes him dream he has a daughter >grows close with her in his dreams >begins preferring sleep to consciousness, so he can be with his daughter >Gaunter kills her in his dream >your arrival causes him to step outside the circle, killing him >mfw
Jonathan Flores
At first I thought olgierd was a random bloodthirsty cunt also wtf does Ataman mean.
Jordan Adams
Oh, alright.
Thanks, anons.
Christopher Scott
I was molested at a young age by Geralt
Grayson Evans
>m-muh troubled childhood >that somehow justifies trying to kill her sister even though she did EVERYTHING in her might to make it up to her, even put her ABOVE THE LAW >that somehow justifies killing men who escorted her on her parent's orders (and only beat her because she tried to escape) >that justifies prostituting herself in order to use and break the heart of a literal higher vampire just so he might carry out your sick vengeance fantasies >that somehow justifies being responsible for the death of hundreds of people during the night of long fangs BITCH DESERVED TO DIE
Michael Morgan
Hello Ciri :3
Jacob Barnes
She says one of the knights hits her with a riding crop. She then mentions another knight "abusing" her. Its heavily implied user.
She wouldnt separate the wording like that otherwise
Gavin Jackson
Well they are immortal so as long as they don't kill eachother too much they could survive without children.
Ian Myers
nth for Shani is perfection.
Jordan Brooks
>m-muh poor banished princess what about all the children in velen who lost their parents, got sent on the trail of treats by their further relatives, probably got raped by every army division passing through and who are starving on the side of some road near a village because no one will take them in?
but ooooh poor syanna poor baby
Tyler Turner
Shit man, the Olgierd duel was one of the highlights of HoS for me. The cut scene afterwards where Geralt hacks his head off and Olgierd grabs it and reattaches it was great.
Matthew Green
English doesn't work that way. If she was sexually abused she would have said he stuck his pee pee in her vajayjay. Don't you know it's got to be explicitly spelled out in order for it to mean that?
Noah Sanchez
I-ITS NOT MEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
help ;_;
Brandon Powell
I thought that killing the dude I'm supposed to be fulfilling wishes for is a sure way to be bound to Gaunter for all eternity.
Nolan Barnes
>somehow justifies being responsible for the death of hundreds of people during the night of long fangs That's on Dettlaff's emotional immaturity. The guy is a danger to the world and deserves to be put down.
Jace Turner
She would have just said rape if anything sexual had truly happened. Abuse in the original meaning of the word means physical abuse, meaning hits, slaps, kicks, the like.
If she really meant it the way you believe she did, she might have just been trying to manipulate you into believing her side of the story, so she might get close to Anarietta to carry out her vengeance. She even admitted herself that she only slept with Geralt in order to manipulate him.
Don't be naive, don't believe that cunt.
Nathan Sanchez
I'm going to spread Ciri's smegma on my bread and eat it!
