Less MPG than a 2000s Corolla

What was the point of this vehicle?

bitches who can't park

City driving

I bought one to hook up to my RV when I take trips to places like Key West or San Francisco where the streets are tiny and crowded. I don't use it for much of anything else than that, or driving it to run to the store real quick when I'm too lazy to take one of my cars out of the garage.

Its neato

to kill people

this
it exists to remove those smug eco-tards from the gene pool

i actually really want one because
>rwd
>small
>aesthetics
>paddle shifters
i think it'd be a pretty funny car to have at meets and maybe some trackdays
What are they like?
Are they enjoyable to drive?
is there anything you can do to tune them up?

Rides like shit, surprising amount of room inside, pretty great visibility. The turning radius is hilariously quick, it's like driving a golf cart at low speeds.

Honestly, I do think they're fun to drive. I do like zipping past people with one. I've seen people swap the engine with 1000+ CC motorcycle engines, putting a fart can on it, etc. I just keep mine stock because with all my vehicles I already spend $1200 a month on insurance.

I think the new ones with the manuals are pretty neat and sound like they'd be fun on a twisty road

>Rides like shit
could you elaborate?
like is the suspension bad or the engine?
Is it cause they have such little power?

Well for one a longer wheelbase tends to produce a smoother ride.

You feel every little bump in the road. Going over even the smallest potholes or light reflectors feels jarring.

It's great for smooth city streets like in Key West or Asheville.

Get the new gen model. It has an honest to god manual and a turbo.

...

>It has an honest to god manual
I do like manuals but they changed the look and I'm not a huge fan of the redesign
>a turbo.
this however is really tempting since i'd like all the power possible

I'll definitely consider a newer model

to prove a robot can drive manual
>mfw it can't

HaHa, no shit. My mazda 3 gets good mileage compaired to this thing. And I can't even put my bicycle in that.

But the diesel version gets 60-70mpg? 100 lb-ft of torque at 1700rpm

Tiniest diesel engine for a road production car

>"It's smaller so it must be better for the planet!"
>"It's so cute"
>"Small size might mean better mileage!"

Ignorance, honestly.

But the diesel version does get better mileage? The EPA natzis and your communist government hate the idea of efficient cars

>What was the point of this vehicle?

100% that it will fit in the tiniest parking spot you can imagine. That's it. It's to make street parking & storage easier.
