My guess? We ended up reverse tilting. We had our inhib down around 28 minutes but it was a sea of taking fights when we could. He started playing sloppily and the last fight involved him trying to go after a low health carry and I dashed onto him and we deleted him.

Ended the game right there. I can't describe how behind we were but we lost 3 inhib towers a little after 28 minutes and just stalled forever. This was despite them getting 2x Baron and elder drag

The most rewarding game I ever had was a TT in which we were loosing so bad we were down to just our nexus by the 10 minute mark and they hadn't even lost a tower. It was like 4/15 the score. They scored an ace and just kept dancing and spamming laughs/emotes while the minions attacked the nexus, then all three of them flashed into the fountain just when the nexus was just about to die. Somehow we managed to clear up all the minions before the nexus went down and defended with a guerrilla tactic, chipping away turret by turret and avoiding teamfights. For about 20 minutes more. By then everyone was full build so their score advantage was useless, we scored a clean ace and took down 2 towers and the nexus without even waiting for the minion wave.

The other team didn't spend so much as a full second in the post game lobby.
