So, been doing research on the radiation nonsense, and it's not as bad as was previously thought

altered = max((((effect - (effect*(getarmor(null, "rad")/100))))/(blocked+1)),0)

With getarmor being null, it gets the average radiation protection among all your covered bodyparts (So, a biosuit would cover hands, arms, chest, groin, feet, legs, with the biohood covering your head and mouth)

So, with rigs covering ARMS|LEGS|FULL_TORSO (6 slots), and biosuits covering ARMS|LEGS|FULL_TORSO|FEET|HANDS (8 slots), we can assume that if you're in a rig, it takes the radiation protection of your magboots and insulated gloves into account

A regular rig suit and regular rig helmet both have a rad protection of 80, whereas magboots and insulated gloves do not have any rad protection

So, (80+80+80+80+80+80+80+80+80+0+0)/11 (assuming that each arm and each leg is an individual section) means you're only getting about 65% rad resistance in a full normal rig

So, the problem isn't that rigs need more rad resistance, it's that you need some rad-resistant gloves and shoes/magboots
