For some reason, ever since I annexed Kunduz they've been getting all my colonial migration (which is few, to say the least) and it's literally impossible to encourage anything in this province. There's around 100 Persian farmers moving there each month now but they literally don't get a single life need since they're all unemployed yet not a single one of them wants to become the first bureaucrat of the province. I was kind of ignoring this until now because I wanted to have as many pops settle there as possible but this is getting kind of worrying.

I try not to bless people with luck if I can avoid it, although in an upcoming situation I will be using it to help make a conflict more difficult.

Two years of quiet pass in Jerusalem as Bourgogne desperately struggles to pacify her vassals (a partial success) and to quiet the demon within her (an unmitigated failure). That's not how it works. You lose Scotland and all of Ireland, then there's a decision to turn into England, which gives all British territories to England, turns all existing UK cores into English cores and tags you to England. You can't have both the UK and England at the same time.

Like I said, I know it's partly memey too. I still thought it was a better choice than Catharism because of how ascetic Cathars are, though, and because Catharism is an extremely European heresy. Bourgogne I was cynical in the extreme, and didn't believe peasants would be willing to convert to a religion even more restrictive than the one they currently followed. That's part of the reason why she favored the morally loose Messalian creed, because she felt that peasants would take to it more readily. Also, naturally, worship of Lucifer in the Messalian faith isn't equivalent to worship of Satan (although stupid HIP goes full meme and makes it as if it were).

As for incest, that was banned in the first Grand Congress. Of course it was legitimized again in the second Grand Congress, because Bourgogne II is literally an insane slut, but the original Bourgogne didn't have any intentions of keeping it.

As in their early days Bourgogne can still be a lovely woman (although it has become harder for her, and thus rarer), and in those moments he is truly happy to be with her, but more oft than not she is merely a fat, cruel shrew who forces him to perform in the name of sating her lusts. In those moments, he regrets. In those moments, he almost even regrets that he loves his children too much to beg her for a divorce. The dark part of his mind wonders why she holds so strongly to this one noble cause, to never make a cuckold of him, in the face of all of the other things she's done. Why does she insist on lying only with him, when he would be happier if she just fucked someone else?

But those are the dark times. When he holds her and she sleeps quietly in his arms, he remembers that his wife is as much a slave to herself as he is to her. Every time he holds her he forgives her all over again; he knows how hard she tries, and how strongly her madness grips her.

In the end, he always remembers that he loves her. And, deep down, Bourgogne never forgets that she loves him, even in the deepest confines of her insanity.

That's... not how it works, user. In Catholic and Orthodox scripture Lucifer and Satan are the same thing, but in Messalianism Lucifer is regarded as a benevolent force entirely separate from evil, which is embodied by a demiurge which pre-existed God's creation of all other beings. And Lucifer isn't the elder brother of God in the Messalian creed, he's the elder brother of Jesus, IE the first son of God. God is still almighty, Lucifer is just elevated above Christ (which is why he had a right to tempt him out in the desert, etc).
