you want highlander for crossguard and you want max swordie for concentrate buff
Best build to get ready for rank 8 for fencer is:
Sword1>high1>sword3>pelt1>fencer2

Ok, so I think that you can't use finestra with rapiers. BUT

Sword Pelt Hop2 Cors2 Fencer 2
- Goes well with venier and karacha DWA, due to high holy property damage per hit, with additional chance due to DWA
- Can spear lunge, attaque coile double hexen dropper, sept etoile, . Then spear lunge again, preperation (x2 next pierce skill) and use lvl 10 stabbing
- Can switch to shield spear stance to actually use finestra (btw finestra doesn't work with rapiers), for tanking

Sword Pelt Hop3 Fencer3
- Can spear lunge, attaque coile, sept etoiles, then spear lunge, preperation, lvl 15 stabbing

You're also significantly lacking in slash so enjoy being useless against 1/3 of enemies due to only having pierce and strike (sorta but not really) covered.
And no flannconde is not a substitute against real slash attacks.

You want around almost full con or full dex as going halfsies with dex is garbage.
On the off chance you don't intend to pvp, you can go full str instead.

As a swordie, dex falls off waay to fast and is not every effective, you either go full dex or don't even touch it

You either spear lunge and than weapon swap meme

You crossguard and than weapon swap meme

Either way you're weapon swapping.
The crossguard debuff timer also scales with your str unlike spear lunge where a single weapon swap lag means its all over for you as you just missed a rotation.

barb is better, 330 extra attack and slash to cover piercing weakness (cloth armor). plus, 4 overheats of aoe stun is a godsend to tank
