The basic rule to zulrah positioning is that it zigzags from left to right.

If you look at the position chart you'll see that ie; a zulrah on centre side spawns --> zulrah on right side. The next two are going to be centre + left (with the centre one forcing you to the left side)

Most of the time it's just that, left to right. All you have to do now is learn the exceptions to this rule and optimize your positions.

Looking at the quest list, there's no real good quests that can give me ranged xp without a lot of pre reqs yeah? Do I just have to do it the hard way, or is there a random quest that has a insert x experience here type thing?

exactly what I'm doing, learned this only yesterday and only going until imbued slay helm & zerker.

It's very easy, if you do with dharok's you can keep your hp at 1 by flicking rapid heal once a minute. Then just remember to overload every 5min.

It's very afk, only thing is clicking rapid heal once a minute.. and if you have chronozon as a boss, using the 4 spells on it and also using ice gloves against fareed, other than that it's simple.

I understand the principle of doing quests to get xp to skip the early levels because the earlier you start a skill the more shit the xp/hour is.

Part of my logic is the better my combat skills are the faster I can do quests and the less I have to suffer.

I have fun in MMO's by interacting with the world as an mmo world. Quests are stagnant content, they exist beyond the realm of the players, you could be playing by yourself on a private server and every quest chain would remain polished ready for play. (though to my understanding certain quests require more than one person as a prerequisite). The main point is that they have pretty much nothing to do with the players or the mmo.

Trading on the market.
Killing mobs for loot that players use.
Making things players use.
Scamming.
Pking.
Talking to people.

These are the things I like in MMOs. Fuck quests desu, I hope quests as they exist now die forever in MMOs.

Both FFXI and Everquest have quests similar to runescape quests in the sense that they weren't WoW style hub quests you did for xp. You did quests to get gear and unlock stuff.

I liked FFXI quests more than runescape/everquest quests because you needed a group for basically everything and no quests gave XP.

I also liked Tabula Rasa.

Use a good chart, when the wave changes switch prayers before doing anything else, and only use a 4 way switch to begin.

After you become more comfortable start experimenting with when you pray (for example there are some phases that don't attack at all, some that attack after spewing snakelings, allowing you to switch and quick pray). Among other things like lasting for two-three kills a trip, bringing vengeance, bringing a dbow/ballista etc.
