what's wrong with making it click?

using the ratcheting system the way it was made to be used? okaay

But that's how it's supposed to work.

>not using a ratchet as a ratchet

So when removing bolts with a socket and ratchet, do you lift the ratchet up and reposition it like a wrench to put less wear on the ratcheting mechanism? Or do you use it the way it was intended?

this is exactly what i was thinking.

Americans, ladies and gentlemen.

Enjoy your broken e-brake :^)

Feeling kinda stupid now, don't you?

>all these idiots putting undue wear on their brakes because "that's how it made made durrr"

My civic has gone 250k miles with the same parking brake while my retard friend who uses the click method is on his 3rd in 6 years

The simple ratcheting mechanism is not going to wear out, that being said i do push the button in just because.

enjoy not understanding basic physics.

keep buying ebay crap made from soft shitty metal.

You're not meant to push the button when you apply it. The clicks are how you know how hard you're applying it.

Thing is the handbrake in my car doesn't engage more often if I use the button compared to just pulling it straight up

Nigga, you one dumb motherfucker.

The ratcheting teeth are supposed to allow movement in a single direction and lock if the lever tries to get pushed the other way without disengaging the pawl.

>use parking brake
>don't push in release
>it doesn't make any weird noises yet it woks as it's supposed to
>mfw

>I have never used a ratchet in my life

So what about those of us with an ebrake pedal? Do I lift the thing when I push it in?

Is this bait, or are there people who are this stupid?

Sage anyway, stupid fuck.
