Killing people with Banshee and an anchored HE Prowler is the highest skill cap activity in any video game, all time. Except for maybe Q3A CPMA duels or Quake Live CPMA duels before they made it as casual as it is now. If you think it's boring or overpowered, it's because you hit a skill wall and can't get to the upper tier where you are literally king of the server.

one of the things that makes the prowler tricky to balance must have been the fact that the first level of lockdown is absolute trash, and the final level is godlike. as opposed to the vanguard shield, which is good at first rank and just recharges faster at higher rank, or the magrider boost which does the same. what they should have done is this:
>fire rate no longer scales with level of lockdown, is now fixed at whatever it is at max rank
>instead, lower ranks take much longer to deploy and undeploy
>can't fire during deploy/undeploy

the real issue is: why do the other utility abilities for the MBT exist? shouldn't they be powered up so they're a legit alternative to the overpowered as shit abilities the tank has otherwise? only tank where it'd make sense to take one of those is the magrider since it has a lot of utility even without the boost

Daybreak hid all the good Hossin bases behind so much "we don't know what to do and bases are hard to make" shit, so that you hardly ever see them. I could understand if the shit bases were adjacent to the warpgate, but on Hossin, it's the other way around.

Communication only works if you have a regular squad that you can trust to actually watch the door behind you. Or to run with you to make it 2v1 at every corner.
Beyond that its about having good sundae spawns, someone to shoo away the air and most importantly +60% hex population.
Because if you play NC its terribad spawns that are being camped by literally everything, especially air, no friendly vehicles ever and hex pop is shit everywhere because TR/VS don't really feel like fighting.
