There are post-war reports about the psychology of the Einsatzgruppen, rear-area units that were in charge of executing Jews, commissars, Gypsies and other undesirables. History is basically the mass raping of various different countries by various different armies and other countries. I think nearly several million troopers were recruited, even going as far as to having blacks servicing in their ranks. The Germans even aided Estonia and Latvia in their efforts to remove the Soviet forces, even into the later war. Not to mention Finland and Ukraine were against the Soviets as well and worked with Wehrmacht and Schutzstaffel to coordinate attacks and remove the "Untermensch" from their areas. So, technically speaking the civilians that were rounded up for concentration camps from the East and French blocs were partially done so by their own countrymen.

Most ideals in politics meets a moment in which realism and idealism separate. Idealistically, Adolf Hitler viewed a majority of Slavs as untermensch based off of their governmental choices and phenomenons occurring in the East bloc when Adolf was writing "Mein Kampf." However, when countries like Romania, Estonia, Latvia, and various other segments of Ukraine and so on offered to aide the German movements into Russia, Adolf Hitler was realistic in accepting and giving military power and relief to them, during the war. So, realistically the Germans were rather accepting of Slavs into their societies and military. Idealistically, they were not considered "high enough" to be equated with a German. But that is considering idealism over reality and what happened.

You were told 4 independent countries that Germany didn't invade, that choose to ally with Germany, that the Allies would have you believe Germany wanted to exterminate.

I'd add on to this by reminding that Soviet war crimes came out of a place of retaliation against some of the most brutal oppression imaginable. Most Soviet soldiers had relatives who were slaughtered by the Germans. Their crimes were horrible, but we as modern Westerners are in no position to judge their reaction against genocide.

You are correct, except I never made mention of the foreign volunteers or legions making the moves to eradicate the civilian populations. The matter was that the local nationalists and pro-national socialists aimed to aide the Germans and would often times vary between revealing local partisans to unveiling hideouts used by both Soviet and Jewish escapees/refugees. So, the local population would easily aide the Schutzstaffel and it was not uncommon for local nationalists and national socialists to work with the Schutzstaffel in rounding up civilians accused of being Jewish/socialist/ect.

Unlike Nazi Germany, which valued its soldiers' lives so much they refused to allow them to retreat or surrender when hopelessly outgunned.

The USSR literally sent positioned soldiers to shoot other soldiers if they so much as turned their heads around.

Exept soviet troops at end were from rest of country far from frontline and they were fueled by propaganda.
Also they often didn't care where Germany begins and may take "revenge" on other nations like Poland. Not to mention actual liberation of land conquered weren't far from those nasty crimed aimed at Axis countries.

The Soviets killed off Partisans, members of other resistances which even aimed to assist the Soviet Union, though. The matter was that the Soviets were almost as nasty as the Schutzstaffel and did plenty to kill off civilians and members of their newly "liberated" societies that were "suspected" of being alongside the Germans. Not to mention that a fair amount of Eastern Europeans did not want to be made victim to the Soviet Union and resisted, nations like Latvia and Estonia.
