/r9k/ is the absolute goldmine. Aside from the fact there are virtually no women, the desperation of the user base is a magnitude higher than /soc/ and that's saying something. Getting into skype groups is best, because when multiple orbiters are aware of each other they will often compete. I don't make a ton of money, but I make enough to pay the rent, other bills, and most of the other luxuries like that I want in my relatively frugal life. I don't usually use camgirls, but sometimes they are willing to hold up a timestamp in 1 on 1 shows. Craigslist is generally better, it's just a set price like $10 for timestamped tits for example, then if you need to get more timestamps later, you can contact the same girl.
It's hard to say, I'm rarely dedicating time purely to it. So I might be on skype, talking with friends generally, and then in a lull in the conversation I'll talk to the orbitters for a bit. Usually no more than 4 hours a day, and even that is the upper limit.

I'm embarrassed to admit that I have friends who do shit like this. Apparently Steam's a goldmine if you pretend to be a girl, don't even need a mic. Their particular variant of this scheme was basically just making a bunch of female accounts, idling in popular games (TF2, Gmod, DOTA, etc.) and sometimes posting on Reddit or /v/.
Needless to say, it's an underhanded thing to do, even if you can argue that the guys deserve it. I'd rather keep my dignity.
