Arsene has a skill called Eiha, which was in Persona 1, and was dark element like Mudo but inflicted damage (and damage over time, but I doubt that'll be in P5), there's a light equivalent called Kouha.

We don't know if they still have the light/dark instakills as well, I know SMTIVF changed them to inflict damage instead of instant death, so maybe P5 is doing the same and just changed the names, or maybe they plan to have both, who knows.

(I've always loved Persona's portrayal of a modern grim reaper-- I'm trying to do the same thing with modern weapons of Arthurian legend.)

Not that I know of! Excalibur is an established demon in the series, but Claiburn's never been mentioned. Of course, with Necronomicon being a Persona, the rules seem to be pretty fluid right now.

I guess I'd be Wizard, and my persona would be Prometheus of the Hanged Man arcana. Y'know cause he stole knowledge and shit. In tri-damage Prometheus would be weak to pierce because of the whole "pecked to death by birds" thing, but for playability that would become wind. Guess I'd use a bo staff, not because I like them but because it hasn't been done so far and it's vaguely wizardish to hold long pieces of wood. My gun would be a C-96 Mauser pistol by default, scaling up to various high caliber semi-auto handguns. I know phantom is already there but there are only so many kinds of guns.
