Cheap enjoyable car in EU

> want a long commuting car that is somehow enjoyable (5+banger or not FWD)
> 1000 Euro cost + 1500 Euro for any repairs
> German market, engine has to be LPG capable
> reliable
Is it achievable? The closest I think I can get is base NA Miata; don't want 4banger BMW.

Miata is always the answer.

Don't forget that user.

I think I know, I'm not sure about my wallet doe.

Fiat Palio with the 5 cyl
Stilo also has a 5 cyl
and the Lancia counterpart of the Palio

E34, E39 (dunno might cost more than 1k in Germany), Mercedes E-class, C-class

Vr6 jetta

I'm too scared of driving Stilo on Polish roads, I bet it would end in pieces 2soon.
Can they stand being powered by LPG?
Thought about that.

Thanks, guys.

>Can they stand being powered by LPG?
Sure, My dad drives a 2.5 E39 with LPG. No problems for daily driving, although it sometimes automatically switches back to petrol at around 6k RPMs. Still, I don't you'll be revving it that much daily.

Do you know a bit about e34? That is more affordable one.

I don't 2bh. All I know is that it looks cool.

get an 86 :^)

>lpg

Why do polaks do this

Why

Dla czego

Enjoy your ruined head gasket desu

Bimmer driver?
That's just the right way, bro. Cheap and eco. Roadsters are the only cars that shouldn't be converted because of lack of space and thus Miata would stay petrol powered.

E30/34/36, Sierras, most 90s BMWs are obtainable under 1K, some even with 6 bangers. If you're concerned about fuel economy though, LPG is a meme, go for diesel and consider a chiptune.

most 90s Mercs*

I also saw some Fieros and Subarus on mobile.de in your budget

>LPG is a meme
Before we'll argue let me just state it isn't, there's just too many satisfied users' opinions I heard, user. :)
And I hate diesels plus it's not suitable for my driving profile.

I had never thought of Fiero. I'll look, thanks.

It's a meme why?
Honestly I can't think of one reason why I shouldn't drive a 6 banger for a cost of a 1.4 diesel.

get 1 gen impreza or mitsubishi eclipse

For godlike i5s, Volvo 850 or Audi 80.

For RWD, Volvo 240/840/940, BMW, older Mercs might be in hour price range.

Or get a Twingo to start with, save up for something nicer in the meantime. 1k will get you a loaded one in bitchin condition, and their chassis is pretty good so they're surprisingly fun. Also you'll be able to meme with the best around here.

>Or get a Twingo to start with
The thing is, that would already be my fourth car "to start with". I'm tired of all of the lacks of: reliability, AC, AT, engine note, noise insulation, fun, highway capability or simple inspection.

After deeper searches it seems I'm stuck with either Audi 80 or VR6 something at best. Not that it's bad, it's just the best scenario when car I buy works just right.
Thanks, Anons.
