I'm only running one bot because I really only want to spoof & goof around at level 40. I'm not going to go apeshit trying to trade high mons to myself or sell my accounts. We'll probably all be banned before trading hits anyway.

Someone in one of the previous threads said there was a way to trick the system and get any pokemon you wanted and avoid a softban.
the process was finding the exact location/coords to where the pokemon is and spoof to it, then initiate battle and spoof BACK to your original location and it would not flag you.
Is this true? Has anyone tried it?

Guys I can't get Nox to work. It gets the location right but no Pokestops or Pokemon at all appear in the game world, and it says Failed to Detect Location at the top all the time.

What did I do wrong?

How common/uncommon are particular egg distances?

As a level 23 I've only run into two 10km eggs this entire time, and a bit more but still very little 2km eggs. Probably a good 90% of my eggs have been 5km.

Guys, I have like 5 different blts runnung right now that are only catching pokemon that are around 1100 cp. Is there any way than I could get pokemon that are higher than 1100 or just simple evolutions?

10's feel pretty rare, 2 kms get walked off pretty fast, but there's a shitload of 5 kms and they just keep piling up

That was me. I do it often on my spoof account. I just scan all of NYC, Boston, Philly, and LA until I see a Snorlax or something I want, port there, start the fight, port back, wait a few seconds, then throw pokeballs like usual. You can fight and then port back if you want, but it's generally safer if you port back as soon as possible so by the time the battle ends your micro softban has ended.

It's impossible to avoid a softban, but using this method you reduce the time of the softban to a few seconds.

Even legitimate accounts get softbanned from time to time.

Ok so what you're saying is basically jump, fight, jump back then WAIT for how long would you estimate? Like 10 seconds? 30 seconds? a minute? Only asking because I want to give it a try but the problem is that if you don't avoid the micro softban and throw a ball the pokemon I assume will run away.
Example, if I spoof to new york, Central park from Orlando, Florida then the time of micro softban would be around what?

Think of movement and softbans like this.

Your character has a finite move speed even if your GPS location does not.

If your GPS move faster than your character can, the character is essentially chasing your GPS location at its maximum speed. This is why you can teleport around a city without much problem, but a softban can last several hours depending on just how far you travel.

Until the character and the GPS location are closeby, you're unable to interact with the world.

By teleporting somewhere and then teleporting back, you're making your character rubber band over a relatively small area, so by the time you want to interact with the world again, your character and GPS location are synced up again. Hence the illusion that no softban occurred.
