cool stuff i added today: made the boost finite (getting the behavior right was harder than i expected heh), added a hitpoint system to the player's ship and a little bar to display it, made it so you can drag and drop ship guns and an interface to match, and added translational movement controls!

It's still kind of buggy, but the pathfinding is getting a lot better! It's getting more difficult to shake them (at least until it bugs out and they just stand there looking away from you).

I'm at my wits end.

I want Unity to play one animation.

After fiddling with Animator, Mechanim and what's not, it appears that Unity won't play the animation unless it's set to Legacy Mode.

But i don't have any way to change the import to legacy animation, and if I go to Debug as most videos tell me to, i can't change the setting to Legacy.

Practice user, you should be able to learn it. But be aware that drawing girls being violated is a complex art so it will take some time.

It's a game where you play a ghost and need to possess people in order to get to and kill your target.

It's basically Hitman but you play as a ghost.

Why not just possess the target and kill yourself?

It's nice to see what kind of mechanism you have came up with to spice up the usual platformer formula.

Option A) If the host dies while you're inside you also die.
Option B) It's hard to force someone to do something they would never do/are strongly against doing.

When it comes to music I've only got GuitarPro so the instrumentation isn't the best. How's it sound?

I have a couple of failure conditions that make it difficult to do this, but I do plan on having this be possible.
-In order to make it so you can't just bumrush the target and suicide, if an NPC is alerted they can't be possessed.
-Targets will have a large number of body guards that'll make it difficult to get in close.
-If you're in ghost form, everyone will be hostile (or scared) of you which will make possessing someone else difficult.
-If the target spots you, they will actively flee (still thinking of how/if to handle this).
But yeah I'm hoping it'll be satisfying to possess your target and jump off a roof or whatever.

Nope, that wasn't me. Though I'm planning to add an actual animation for having the player hold the objects instead of just having them float like that.

That makes sense, but personally I'm more worried about people forgetting about their main projects. There is a lot of time for DD10 but if you only have one month to work on it it would be a bit complicated.

Sometimes I'll take random samples and heavily distort them to my needs.
Which technically isn't safe but no ones gonna be RE'ing them anyway. But I add dissonance layers anyway.
