There's only 1 server in for EU/Ger that has high pop, rest is all medium and low.

I'm thinking of resubbing and starting on a UK server, just because I think it would be easier to find a guild on servers that are NOT empty...

I was thinking that if they have conflicting names they could just add the original servers to the names like they do with crz now to clarify.
Like if after a merger they'd have Benafflock-Sargeras and Benafflock-Illidan.

And on top of that, offer a free name change to the first player in a conflict who wants to change their name.

That's just how I'd handle it. Same goes for Guild names

You can hide the server part of names already, you could hide the battletag too.

Multiple people with the same name is quite normal irl, so why can't you handle it in-game?

My guild is stuck on normal Imperator.
We bring 11 people (3 healers).
DPS looks fine but we always struggle with the second intermission.
Healers are always low mana by this point and the guild insists we kill the mages first and then the reaver (don't ask why).
What can I say to them to convince them to kill the Reaver first? I'm tanking the anomalies while the other tank sits with the reaver and gets tunneled by 1 healer. I have a shaman helping me kill the anomalies.

The very obvious subtext of MoP is that the pandaren were stagnating in their isolation: they were trying to solve the Sha problem with the whole "slow down, be happy about everything" routine, but in the end it was their pride (as a group) that made them hide away from the world for 10,000 years until the Cataclysm parted the mists and the Horde and Alliance stumbled upon them.
