/gerg/ - Giant Extreme Robots General

I'm in love... in love with a 'mech. It can't load a lot of weapons and it barely has any armor but damn if it isn't fast. As my love and I are working in harmony, prancing in front of an enemy assault, riding an enemies tail, burning off rear armor and disappearing around a corner before they turn around, I can't help but feel a warmth inside, a deep connection.
I've tried them all, from whales to spiders but one bug keeps me coming back.
Twenty tons doesn't sound like much, only one-fifth of the heaviest but when I'm inside of it I feel more safe than in any other cockpit, I know that my one and only are together and a feel that nothing can do us harm.
Locust, I love you.
Let me pilot you until the end of days and together we shall conquer the universe.

What a fag.

Beat me to it, you arse.

Where are the robots

Someone crashed the dropship, with no salvage.

>Queue up yesterday
>took 4 mins to find a match

I actually think this is getting dead for real this time

There's nothing to hype people left in this.

What are we even looking forward to? inverse kinematics? that's it, that's the hypest tihng in the game.

Every new mech looks, pilots and feels the same. They don't even do different HUD. What's the point?

You're on an island buddy, and being replaced by two thousand new players a day.

>inverse kinematics
>decals

MWO finally catching up to the baseline set by MW4 Vengeance almost 16 years ago.

The hilarious thing is, the MWO decals look to be of the exact same quality as the MW4 ones...

Cheetah Recon Gear mounting a Heavy V-engine, generator pylons and fuel tank. The heavy powerplant would usually be mounted as standard on the larger Support Gears, so should result in higher performance over the standard Cheetah V-engine when mounted on a lighter chassis.
