Yeah, that's what i've been doing for the most part. Been checking to see if multiple buyers for the same item, but the item is either impossible for me to craft at my level or very tedious to obtain the mats (haven't really leveled my retainers yet for hunting).
Been sticking to some low level stuff that sells consistently, just being an impatient butthead.

Determination V materia, had a bit of matter saved so I was able to put some crit ones in my lore pieces. And then will probably work on upgrading my right side.

No such thing! The only issue at hand are the dps queue times and leveling up your first job to 60, but now it's much easier than it was before, so you're good. If you have friends to run the dungeons with, you'll reach endgame content remotely fast, after the painful god-knows how many filler quests that you have to go through no matter what, and then you'll have lots of fun. Hopefully. The hardest part of this game isn't the game itself anyway. It's making a character that you're happy with. For real.
